Never, never book with them, they can cancell your reservation at any momment even though you try to comunicate with them with no answer.
They spoil family vacation with no explanation, surely because they find another potential customer that pays more.

SPOILED FAMILY VACATION

There’s a reason this company isn’t a BBB accredited company. Horrible. Asked for late checkout. They came back with $900, triple the regular price just to stay an extra few hours late. To make this ga worse, our unit in Maui is horrible. Still no offer to have late checkout for less.

Don’t book through Leavetown

We stayed in Aspen Lodge on the third floor and you can hear absolutely that goes on in the room next to you. I could hear every time the people next to us went to the washroom and clearly make out everything line off the TV. The rooms were a decent size but does not make up for your lack of sleep. The bathroom was also pretty dingy and the hot tub had a used band aid floating in it. Avoid the rooms in Aspen Lodge floor 300 on Booking.com

Can Hear Everything!

Good thing the weather was cold at night 3c. We slept really good. It was quiet and pleasant.  Condo was clean. The bed was comfy.  In the winter time they must be very busy with the ski hills right next door. We walked around, went for a ride on the chairlift. Top of the mountain is beautiful. Bring your camera or cell phone. There are many interesting pictures to be taken.

Nice place to stay.

This was our first time staying at Timberline Lodges in Fernie.  The condos are comfortable and have hot tubs on site.  Each unit is privately owned- so I can only comment on the condo we stayed in.  The furniture is a bit worn and dated BUT certainly adequate.  

The receptionist staff were very friendly and helpful. 

The location of these condos is not what I would consider ski-in... and we did not use the shuttle but drove to the hill.  If you are looking for convenient ski-in/ski-out these are not the units for you.  

The town of fernie is a pleasant 12 minute drive and has options for dining and shopping.  It's a cute little town- and beautiful surrounding areas.

Comfortable Lodging

We stayed at Timberline Lodges, specifically the building called Spruce Lodge -  Room 227.  They do have community hot-tubs near by and you can use their pool across from the parking lot at King Fir Lodge (where  you check-in).  They have community bbq's as well.  

Front desk was very helpful and gave us a ton of options of things to do.  Location is good. 5-10 minutes from the town center of Fernie.

Our room was tired looking and very musty smelling (almost like this room could have been a smoking unit at one time, many years ago.  cigarette smoke and not forest fire smoke).  Had to keep our windows open at all times.  I would not spend full price on this room again due to the smell.  Cleanliness of the room was good.  Another family member is in room 225, their unit has been updated with no issue of smell.  They have the sun as well.  

Many things to do in Fernie for a family with small children.

First trip to Fernie - Stayed at Timberline Lodges - Specifically Spruce Lodge

We called the day before and asked for early check in (2 pm). They said they would prioritize us. Then we called two hours before our arrival to check if room was ready. They said no but they would do it next. At 4 pm (advertised check in time) room is still not ready and they want 45 more minutes. I have never in all my years of travel has this type of experience. Now my four kids after 4 hours in the car have to wait even longer for a room we are paying for but don’t have. Unacceptable. 

Room not ready

We stayed here for a ladies fishing trip.  We were in the Juniper lodge.  The accommodations were 2 bedrooms and a living/dining area. Kitchen has full size fridge, stove, dishwasher, coffee maker and microwave.  Each bedroom had its own bath. One bedroom had small fridge, coffee maker and microwave. Our meetings and meals were in the main check in lodge area where we had a room reserved. There is a pool and a couple hot tubs which we didn’t use this trip.  Comfortable bed and pillows.  There was no tv in one bedroom and only one station on the other bedroom tv.  Living room tv worked fine and has a DVD player.  One bedroom had a wall cooling unit. There is no air conditioning in the other bedroom or main area.  Even with the ceiling fan in high and windows open the unit is hot in the summer. The other bedroom has no fan.  The front desk will give you a portable fan of you ask for one.  I would bring one if you stay here in the summer. 
I recommend this property and would consider another visit in the future. 

Good place to stay in the summer - bring a fan

We did an impromptu detour to Fernie for 2 days of skiing at stayed at the Timberline Lodges.   We had 2 bedrooms at a very reasonable price and had a great stay with our 2 boys.   The unit was well laid out and very comfortable.  It was quiet and only a few minutes walk to the base of the mountain.  Shuttle to the lifts was convenient and of course the skiing was awesome.   The hill has changed a lot since I was first there.   Very impressive.  Fernie is a nice town to visit as well, quiet and not so commercialized.

Perfect ski trip

We stayed at the Juniper Lodge for 4 nights.The lodge is very close to the ski hill and although you can walk up to it, the complimentary shuttle was a much less exhausting and much more welcomed option. The Juniper has two outdoor hot tubs, but to use the outdoor pool you have to go to another detached lodge. The pool is advertised as heated but it was still far too cold to comfortably swim, and the "beach towels" provided are small and thin. 

The unit we stayed in (633) needs a few improvements. The pullout leather sofa bed is in poor condition and incredibly uncomfortable to sleep on (and not much better to sit on,) the TV is small and lacks HD, the fireplace is electric, and the kitchen is very minimally stocked. It could use more cookware, a serving dish or two, steak knives (and a knife sharpener,) and a blender at the very least. Be sure to bring your own dish soap and washing machine detergent because they're not provided. First world problems, perhaps but, given the rental cost, these are reasonable expectations. 

On the plus side, the washer and dryer, bath and showers, and beds (one bed is actually two singles pushed together)  were very nice. It's a good place if you can get a deal but we'll check out the Snow Creek Lodge next time. It's older than the Juniper (Timberline Lodges) but having a true ski-in/out lodge and heated underground parking makes up for it.
