This is a great no frills hotel in central Yaounde. Easy to get anywhere in town. Restaurant on premesis was very convenient especially after a hard business day.

Great no frills in town center.

I stayed there for a week, it if a 2 star hotel so i understood some little problems that occur plus we are in Africa so...
The personal was very nice, you can see from their behavior they are well treated. The food was very good, you should definitely try the shrimps with the white sauce
I would only recommend to clean a little more :)

Not bad for a 2 star hotel

some problems with AC, good location, bathroom wasn't very clean, and some troubles with place for meeting of 5 people. Nice service, breakfast not included but good and tasty. TV in the room works better then AC

It's not a very nice hotel

Prestige Hotel is a good, no-frills hotel for a stay in Yaounde. It has a restaurant and bar, and a quick, convenient walk or cab ride to downtown. The staff are friendly.

Value hotel, convenient to downtown Yaounde

Staff are friendly; convenient location near center of town. Good value for the price.

Modest, good value

Prestige is a very affordable local hotel in Yaounde. The owner and staff are very friendly and accommodating. The free wifi worked great for the first few days, then unfortunately the connection was damaged somewhere beyond the control of the hotel, so this was not available. The owner apologized and offered to help me get local wifi through a SIMS card.

Affordable, basic hotel in Yaounde

Our room was small but had a nice view to the north. The bed ok, shower  produced some warm water, tv worked but the air conditioner had only two settings, off and on. Typical traffic noise, the restaurant had very little choice for breakfast. We ate across the road for dinner. Staff relatively friendly some bilingual. Reasonable price

You have to check your room when you get in, because some have no warm water, or faulty electricity.

But it is reasonably priced, clean and the food in the restaurant is pretty good.

When you're not expecting the service of a Hilton, or when that's not within your budget, this is a fine place to go. 

Not the best in town, but serves it's purpose

Find elsewhere if you don't need to be in the area.

Very old, no renovation since eternity!

Although situated in the center of the city which makes its accessible, the stair case is quite narrow and can be dangerous for children. The carpet was old and stuffy. We found it uncomfortable as a family.
