The view was awesome.
We were in the apartment with bahttub, so my girlfriend love it. 
Furniture is really cool old style.
They have big terrace where you can sit and drink a wine (just crazy kids under the terrace make a noise until 1 at night).
Breakfast was delicious and i think the made homemade banica, was really good breakfast.
It was strange  when we want to order food for our room, but they didn't let us. We ask just to take the plates for the apartment but they still didn't let us. Suggest to do something about it,  because when they have big group  in the restaraunt and you want to eat in calm place ...   you need to go ouside to buy something  and come back  to eat in your room or go to some restaurant outside..

We had two nights in the apartment at the hotel.  It was great! Quirky layout and very traditional look.  Very little English was spoken but that wasn't a problem at all!  Very warm and welcoming in a great quiet location just a vey short walk from the main attractions.  We ate in the restaurant where the son spoken excellent English.  Great value for money and a very relaxing stay.  If you want a standardised hotel chain package this isn't the place for you but if you want to experience a little more of Bulgarian hospitality - don't hesitate!

A true traditional Bulgarian family run hotel

I stayed here for one night while driving from Sofia to Ruse. I was welcomed by Natalie on reception who spoke very good English. The room was large, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. I was able to get a room with a balcony overlooking the river which was a perfect place to enjoy a drink and watch the sun set.
The hotel is located in a quiet area within easy walking of the town centre.
I had my evening meal in the hotel restaurant which is pleasantly decorated. The menu choice is large and varied. The service was pleasant and efficient and the portions were large and reasonably priced. Breakfast was again in the restaurant and again there was a large choice.
This was my first time in Bulgaria and I was pleasantly surprised. I can definitely recommend the hotel for value and comfort and will return if I am ever in the area.

First class experience of Bulgaria

Stayed for 2 nights on our way back to Sofia airport. Wanted to do the Shipka pass, ufo monument, devatashka caves and Kryshuna waterfalls. I love lovech province, a beautiful area of Bulgaria. The Varosha was very friendly and they spoke some English which was very handy. Our room was lovely and clean and comfortable. Had fridge, tv, hairdryer, air con. Food was fabulous, we had dinner on Saturday night but they don't open on a Sunday night so we went into town. Great value for money I would definitely come back here.

Lovely Friendly Hotel

We absolutely LOVED our stay here. I would even say it was the best place we stayed during out 10 days in Bulgaria. The hotel was in a quiet neighborhood along the river. The staff was absolutely delightful and friendly. Their English was spot-on terrific. They truly cared about their guests. We felt like family. Our beautiful room was sparkling clean. We thoroughly enjoyed watching the thunder and lightening storm from our deck overlooking the river on a warm late afternoon. We had a delicious dinner at the hotel and our morning breakfast was superb. I cannot say enough good things about this family hotel. We were actually sad to leave and gave hugs goodbye to the Natalie, the morning manager.

Excellent Stay. Perfect in everyway!

One of the best hotels in central north Bulgaria. Built in the traditional Bulgarian architecture, it has three floors of all different rooms, each with different architecture and style.
The owner is extremely friendly and accommodating.
The distance from town centre is 5 min on foot. Distance from the fortress is 25 min uphill and 5 min downhill.
There are all modern amenities, too. The bathroom was in need of small repairs, but was very clean.
The restaurant offers the best food in Lovech, the prices are a bit steep. The waiters are very fast and the food came warm and the drinks were cold, like it should be.
Strongly recommend.

excelelnt rooms, good food, friendly owner

The hotel is briliant - it is build in old Bulgarian style. Very clean, cosy hotel. The owners are very friendly - everyone may feel like in home.
The cherry of the pie - this is the restaurant. It is opening for breakfast for the hotel guests and for dinner. The cuisine is excelent - it is hard to describe with simple words - it has to be seen and tasted personally.

Excelent cuisine and hotel hospitality

We booked two nights at this hotel. We were staying at room no.5. I’m mentioning the number because in case you book here, you don’t get this room. Design of room was rustic style and bed comfortable. No plugs next to the bed for phone charging though. Now, the bathroom! You will need a boat to enter because everything inside is leaking. The sink was leaking under, non stop. I am sure the cleaning lady or owners saw this but still book the room without caring even to fix it! The bathtub…!!! It’s equipes with jacuzzi yes (but don’t know even if it working) because the sides of the bathtub were almost falling apart, half dettached from the main body of the bathtub. Taking a shower which is supposed to be a refreshing moment, was a hectic process in this room! The water was coming under the bathtub flooding everything because there was no silicon sealing around the bathtub. There was just a plastic frame that obviously was not preventing the water to escape because was half unsticked. Again, I am sure the owners knew that as it’s something that looks to be years like this. Oh, and last but not least, the toilet; fit in a corner, and always there was water around the base and behind it. That bathroom needed a total replacement and until then, the hotel should refrain from booking  the respective room to people.

There was no cleaning of the room in the two days we were there. They just entered the room, placed new towels and went away. Not even tiding up the bed. And it’s advertised as a hotel and not as an apartment complex.

Honestly, I don’t know why the rating is so high for this place. Maybe other people had more luck in the rooms they got. I don’t know. I am just describing our experience. Architecture of the establishment is nice. There is a nice enclosed yard with tables for the breakfast and dinner. Food is ok. Breakfast is strange as you have to choose one dish from a list of 7-8 choices. Portions are unequal though. If you choose a continental breakfast you have many things offered of course. But if you choose the crepes, you get two little crepes that they disappear in two bites. And this is your breakfast. No, I won’t take it. They should have more or less equal portions for the things they offer, especially that you are obliged to have only one choice from the list. 
Dinner was good and we found the girl serving us very friendly and attentive! She was speaking good English and was easy to communicate. 

Checking out they didn’t ask us at all how was our stay at the room with the collapsing bathroom. It seems no maintainance takes place at this hotel. This was our conclusion.

Get a boat for the bathroom! Below average hotel.

Dont stay there. There is no alivater.The bathtab in our room was broken thad the tap was liking. We didnt have  enouugh hot water and toylet paper.We came late and tryed to fined a place to eat but there is not much opshens.There is a rever near by but its not the place that i would like to back to.There is a parking place if you will tack the chanse
