The location is central, in the authentic part of the town. Very cozy and one has everything one needs. There is a nice area outside for coffee and tea. The rooms are quiet and nice. The food at the house is simply amazing - we enjoyed eating traditional Bulgarian meals. Recommend it!

Great food and authentic interior

We were three friends staying in Gozbarov house in the beginning of September for a holiday. The house was a bit difficult to find but the host was very helpful with instructions. The room was cosy and clean although a bit smaller than expected for three adults. The food in the restaurant was home-made and very delicious. Parking space is limited so better park on the main road near the narrow street on which the house is located. We would definately recommend this place and stay again.

A very nice place to stay and eat

We booked the whole house for a class reunion well in advance. The owner was very accommodating and communication went very well setting up all details. The house was clean, also the rooms, bed sheets and towels. The food in the restaurant was way better than the food we ordered in any other restaurant in town. The personnel was kind and very helpful too. The bartender/waiter made our stay unforgettable. Few things to consider - bathrooms need better maintenance. Set of toiletries was missing. Not enough cloth hangers in the closet. Over all our stay was pleasant.

We'd love to visit again

Roughly 50 minutes before we arrived, I received a call from the owner, who wanted to give me directions. This was a big wow from the mere begining. Then when we arrived, he greeted us with a smile and was more than helpful. Gave us advice where to go, what to visit. Then in the mornings asked us if everything was fine. But he did not do it with a hypocritical face. No! He really meant it. Amazing! The hotel is very clean and warm and is situated at a wonderful str.

Wonderful place

The house is beautiful and has a great view to the hills. The location is very convenient. The beds are comfortable and the garden is small, but lovely. The restaurant offers the essentials of the Bulgarian cuisine - everything we ate was very tasty. People are nice. It's a good place to stay with children. 

Great place to stay and to have a meal

A beautiful and quaint family run hotel, the couple were so lovely, like we were welcomed into their home. The views of the mountains are just gorgeous and peaceful. its a short walk into the centre of the town, just as well as it was a bit loud in town at night (where did all those people come from? its such a quiet place!)
