Pousada Pouso da Maré

The two front rooms of this simple Pousada are on the best possible location on the island of Boipeba. The rooms are directly on the beach with hammocks on the terrace that are the ideal place for relaxing between swims. A excellent breakfast is served in the shade of large trees directly on the beach. The staff is extremely friendly and the owner Kener Guerra is the perfect host. Because the Pousada does not have a restaurant Kener recomended restaurants that were excellent. The only drawback of the Pousada is that the rooms have no air condition only fans. This however was not a problem because of the constant breeze from the sea. Please also remember that Boipeba is a remote island and don't expect the comfort of a five star hotel.
