We choose this pousada for a two night stay in Buzios. The house is beautifully located on top of the mountain with views over the town and the sea. The staff was friendly and helpful at all times. 

This pousada has that much potential but there where to severe negative points I have to complain about. The breakfast was the worst of our whole trip! No eggs, no american breakfast, instead they served orange concentrate and dirty toast on the cheapest marmelade you can buy. Really? That’s a absolute shame for this beautiful pousada! Second, the mattresses felt like thirty years old and should be changed at some point.

Nice view

Very nice place to stay if you want to be in a calm place in búzios.
Rooms are vet nice and breakfast also.
Staff very helpful and lots of parking spots.
It’s away from the beaches but the views are amazing as it’s on top of a hill

Amazing views

This posada happens to be on the highest point over Buzios with a wrap around view of the bay and ocean. A short (less than 5 min) drive to the local shopping and dining area in town, the place has a pool with incredible views of the bay. Set on a fastidiously manicured garden, the house looks like a place straight out of Architectural Digest. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The perfect place for a romantic getaway (WiFi is iffy, but regular data connection was fine). Breakfast includes a full spread of cheeses, meats, pastries, bread, coffee and juices. And if you get a chance book room 7, with 180 degree views of the ocean. We would absolutely go back. 

No words are enough

We arrived for a two night stay on the Monday. We were shown each of the available rooms and opted to upgrade to room 7 that offered a fantastic all round view. And large comfortable bed, well furnished and huge shower. I have been in many five star restaurants in my time and would say this among the best places I have ever stayed. Fantastic staff, fantastic views, relaxing, comfortable, well furnished (European design as the owner is Italian). The breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice, fruits, breads, cold cuts, juice, coffee and cakes. 

I highly recommend this place and say it worth every penny you spead. The hotel does not offer any further meal or drinks so you are more than welcome to bring your own. They will provide glasses and ice for you to sit by the pool and enjoy the amazing view.

Excellent- fantastic place.

Good: breakfast, rooms and view.
Bad: Wrong address according to booking.com. We rang the doorbell for 10 minutes and then only when I called them on the phone I learned the entrance was on another street (just go ahead and turn right if you're going there). The pool looked really nice from the outside but once you're in, you can see how dirty it is - hair and mosquitoes floating, it was obvious they hadn't cleaned the pool with a net for quite a while. The A/C in my room wasn't working but we didn't bother cause it was a windy period. We rented a car there and I can't think of how people get around without one. The pousada is on the top of a hill and the streets get really dark at night. It was definitely an overpriced stay but it was my first time in Buzios, so next time I'll look for something else..
