Really really nice place. Just lovely. Staff is super polite and friendly. 
Prices are really okay. I am guessing it is a bit more expensive than in any other local cafe, but guess what. This is hotel and it is the main square so the prices are amazing. 
Cannot wait to come back.

Lovely

The hotel is located in the center of Trebinje. Very nice, modern hotel. The rooms are comfortable, clean. Within the hotel, there is a restaurant, with a very nice terrace. The food is very tasty. The wine selection is excellent. Breakfast is delicious.The staff is very friendly. Recommended.

Nice hotel

Spent 2 nights in the Platani hotel in 2018, during April. First of all - the hotel has a great location, best place in the city center, next to the piazza and maybe some 50 meters from the Trebinje Old town. Beautiful surroundings, and yet very calm and quiet, especially in the morning. One tip if you are a early riser - coffee in the hotel restaurant under the plane trees (from which the hotel gets the name), before the city starts to wake up, is one of the most calming and pleasant things you can experience.
About the room - it was nice and clean, and also very spacious which we didnt expect.
Breakfast was great, with huge variety of food.
Also, the staff was very helpful - they managed to get us a parking spot although it was afternoon when we arrived and the city was crowded. And they even booked us a table for dinner at the Vukoje winery.

Great stay

The hotel has a good location.  Nearby is the entrance to the Old Town, a small market, streets with boutiques.  The hotel is small, cozy, the rooms are spacious, the toilets too, there was soap, shampoos, shower gels, hot water.  Good internet.  The furniture is not new, but everything is neat.  Cleaning every day, attentive staff.  The downside is the view from the windows and a modest breakfast.  The restaurant is expensive.

Good hotel

Hotel situated in calm and quiet area. Only drawback was hotel does not have a elevator. But they helped us to transport our baggage’s to room. Food served was good. Aircondiotioning effect was good. Service level was excellent.

Calm and quiet hotel

We had three nigths. In senter of town. So you head what was on if the windows where open. Big spacy rooms. Wonderful staff, helpful and smiley. A "down to earth" place, nothing upjugled stach. A bit of the old style hotel. Clean.
Parking just behind the hotel, watched by the staff. Ok breakfast.
If I come back to Trebinje, we will sray here again.

A good place to stay i mid town ..

Our room (the junior suite) offered nice views of the corner of the square and was spacious and very comfortable (great beds, nice shower, good air conditioning) despite a few quirks (lack of power outlets, a few broken light bulbs, overabundance of pictures of Monica Bellucci just because she stayed there, furniture stored in the hallways). The breakfast buffet, however, was disappointing: “juice” that tastes like sugared water, lukewarm tea, cold fried and/or scrambled eggs, run-of-the-mill charcuterie and below-average cheese.

Nice room, mediocre breakfast

Not the easiest hotel to find when you have a car, good that we tried in September which is late and low season as there wasn’t too much traffic around and parking spaces were available.  In fairness the hotel directed us to spaces that were reserved for the hotel itself and we managed to get the last one. Rooms basic, simple and not overly clean.  Curtains poor and broken so a lot of early morning light to wake you up.  View over square outside a disappointment and not worth the extra as all you do is look at trees.  Wifi good and bar service outside slow. Breakfast was a disaster with food left out, cold, mostly finished at 8.30 am or not there and to top it you have to pay extra to get real coffee. It was the total lack of communication that got to us; there were plenty of staff but most of the were sitting down smoking and not giving a hoot for the guests. We were so pleased we did not eat there the previous evening; go up the hill to Vinska Galerija "vukoje" where we had a magnificent meal with staff who cared.

Complete indifference from the staff at every turn – no one tried to speak to us on any occasion

It is unthinkable that guests at 10 o'clock in the morning will be expelled from the garden of the Platani Hotel because coffee cannot be drunk while breakfast is in progress. The waiter pointed to the part of the garden where it was raining and said: Coffee is drunk in this part!
Extremely unprofessional and rude behavior of the staff.
