This hostel has potential, it lacks attention. Cleanliness is big let down. We had to ask for change of bed sheets as we foung hair in it. Mould on the wall and flaking paint is just bad. Our bathroom was not better with moulded walls and ceiling. At least we had hot shower. And good internet connection. Also location is ok. Not far from centre and not far from bus terminal. But price is hard to beat.

Mixed bag, if you can look somewhere else unless you are on string budget.

We arrived in Sucre in the wee hours of the morning and were given a pamphlet for this hostel at the bus station. The pamphlet painted a very pretty picture and the hostel was very cheap. As we were DESPERATE for a bed and a hot shower after a three day Uyuni trip, we booked in. We were shown to our room with a private bathroom and were disgusted to find one of the filthiest rooms we've ever seen. The walls were stained with brown smudges, the bathroom absolutely stunk and looked like it had not been cleaned for months. There was disgusting hair (yes, the worst kind) everywhere throughout the bathroom and it smelt like a male urinal. At least the water was hot. The lady at reception seemed quite nice when we first checked in, but after that she very quickly lost her friendliness. There were issues with the wifi - the lady was extremely unhelpful and tried making excuses like "it gets shut off at 8pm" but it was only 7.30pm. We also were quite disappointed as we were not told of any kitchen, and the markets down the road had such a lovely selection of fresh fruit and vegetables to cook with. So we ate out for our time there, and on our last night there we brought dinner back to the hostel with us and asked at reception for a knife and fork, only to be told there WAS in fact a kitchen that we could use. That information would have been a little more helpful when we first checked in. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone unless every decent hostel in Sucre is booked out and you're desperate.

Most disgusting bathroom I've ever come across

We didn't follow our gut, and were convinced by someone at the bus stop by their colorful and amazing pamphlet. When we arrived, again swindled by the low price and guarantees of grandiose. The honeymoon sweet for such a low price. We saw why. The room was filthy, the bathroom ceiling had black mold. The view from the window was nothing but power lines. The only nice thing was the friendly staff.  Miss this stop.

No!!

I went to this hotel as it seemed to be a good value. I had a room with private bathroom, which was clean. I stayed for 4 nights, and the main issue was that almost every day there was NO WATER available in the bathroom (nor cold nor hot). I was told that there were waiting for a big bunch of people in the weekend and had to turn the water off, which was very annoying. I have been offered to take a shower in another room, but why would I pay for a private bathroom then...

Quite disappointed about it - otherwise when there is water available it's a very good value for the price. There is wifi too.

Good and bad at the same time...

When my girlfriend and I checked in we booked for 3 nights. Late in the evening before the second night we were told to check out early the next morning because the whole hostel were booked, so we had to find another place to stay the third night.
