Stay here! Casa Lynda is well-run, good value, nicely finished, clean and well-located. I read a lot of reviews describing it as homely, which can sometime be positive and other times negative, however I found that there was a perfect mix of privacy, friendliness and helpfulness. Everything works and shuts properly. The hot shower is genuinely hot. Breakfast whilst extra is good value and tasty. Tanya went out of her way to ensure my stay went well, including organising onwards travel and quickly sorting any problems or issues. Very nice gardens to hang out and hammock in if you like. 

Casa Lynda only offers four wonderful rooms, located around a beatiful little garden. But what a wonderful place to stay, relax - and to start trips to the Amboro National Park, to El Fuerte or other attractions near Samaipata. Maybe not the cheapest option in Samaipata but worth every single USD and highly recommendable.

We spent 5 nights in the room with a private bath. Everything was perfect. The room was huge, tons of natural light, a little sitting area, table a chairs, nice sized bathroom, and a separate alcove to make coffee in the morning ( there is also a communal fridge to use). The grounds are lovely  What I appreciated most were the little touches including that Lynda has water available - not only is this super convenient but it cuts down on the plastic consumption. Yeah. And of course, as others have mentioned, Lynda is gracious and helpful.

Casa Lynda is the perfect place to relax in Samaipata. The garden and patio are lovely and peaceful, but less than 5 minutes from the centre. Rooms are beautifully decorated with everything you'd need, beds are super comfortable and the additional breakfast was amazing - a welcome change from the breakfasts we've had elsewhere in Bolivia! It was great getting to know Lynda (and of course Shadow and Lucky!) and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend! Hopefully we'll be back in the future!

I could really just stay and stay here at CASA LYNDA,  in Samiapata.  I love waking up in my beautiful room, and have my breakfast  served in the  courtyard!  Lynda, Shadow,  Lynda 's dog, and Lucky,  the cat,  has become  part of my Bolivian family. CASA LYNDA  is a place to regroup, transition and to rest.  Or stay for a few months while you write that novel that you've been thinking about .  This is my second time here, and if i come back to this part of  Bolivia again, I know, without a doubt wbere i will stay. A wonderful place and a wonderful hostess.  Thank you, Lynda,  it's been great. I will miss you, your animals and your beautiful  place.

We loved not only the nice room and the huge and wonderful garden but also Lynda, the lovely owner there! The center is only 2 minutes away as well. We had a great time and wished we could stay longer there. The atmosphere in the lovely garden with Lynda, her cat, her dog and her chicken that follows her everywhere was unique:-) We would come back any time-thank you so much for everything Lynda!
