This place is awesome!

We were greeted after a long road trip with a warm welcome and a tour of the place.

Our host Tricia, is a fantastic cook. She made dinner with fish, cooked vegetables, salad and homemade bread.  

Breakfast was fresh fruit, potato pancakes and more.

It was a pleasure to relax in the hammock and share wonderful conversation when we wanted to connect.

We slept  peacefully with the sound of the ocean and the cool breeze. 

The outdoor shower is warm and wonderful to rinse off in, after getting in the ocean.

The wifi was very fast and worked great, 100% of the time. 

We were close enough to walk to the village and enjoy Garifuna drumming and cold drinks.

This was an authentic introduction to Hopkins, Belize. 

We will be coming back in the future.

This place is awesome!

Trish makes our stay feel like home.  She makes the best Coffee in the morning.  Our family loves everything about Kismet:  drink, food, art, and ocean!  It is convenient to everywhere in Hopkins.  If you don't know what to do in Hopkins, Trish will give you a lot of good tips!

we stayed at the property next door and met Trish and Elvis on a walk down the beach they are such great down to earth people we ended up eating 5 meals there at her cafe and enjoyed hanging out with them, she is a wonderful cook and easy going with Great Prices. If we ever stay at Belize again we will be staying here

It is a truly beautiful experience. Directly on the beach it’s an oasis. Tricias cooking is the best I’ve ever had .
the first night she made us shark ;
absolutely the best shark I have ever had very fresh perfectly prepared.
You must be prepared for a very rustic experience but her art expressed throughout the complex is phenomenal and nurturing. It is also a great 
Bargain.

Paradice

I passed the place by accident as was looking a place to stay. I decided to check it out as it looked very charming. Tricia offered me a room and a tasty dinner right away. The place is charming and eclectic located right on the water and has a serene feel to it. Feels like a secluded getaway in a paradise on the island.

Wonderful place

First off this is not a 5 start hotel if that's what your looking for. These are secluded cabanas with a real sociable person that owns it. For the people staying it is not safe, I have stayed here three times and I disagree very much, I have also camped on this property. If you want a fresh herb and healthy meal made to order on the sea this is a good place to stay. I was injured during my last stay and not knowing anyone on the area I went back to Trish (owner) for help, she gave us a discounted room, fed us whatever we wanted and gave me medicine and great care. I will be friends for life with the people I have met here. If you are a uptight class and sass person this place is not for you. This unique place is for the chill and open minded. The two dogs were so friendly and there are a few chickens roaming around. I cannot wait to come back again!

IT'S yummy and there is a Lot of it!
JERK, fresh caught red snappers, barracuda,
( thanks to Elvis), grilled LOBSTERS,dipped in melted butter- just melted in Your mouth!
Chicken curry, coconut carrot rice, NY- pizza, glazed pork chops, salads, coconat- cheese cake( ESPECIALLY done for BRUCE), FRESH BAKED BREAD, VEGANS, VEGETARIAN FOOD AND MORE..
The "extraordinary" food,  cooked to " perfection" by "Passionat" Tricia..is unbeatable by any local
" competitors"!! NO WAY??!!
I was greeted by Tricia, Elvis, Stuff like I was the most IMPORTANT Customers They had.
KIsmet Caffe is Opene almost 24/7, even in the off season!
The Excellent Atmosfer..with a laid back vibes, with the breath taken away ocean breeze and views..

Had a fabulous stay with Tricia and Elvis. Quirky and charming set up, Tricia is a fabulous cook and eating good wholesome food each day was a delight. 

Kismet Inn will be unlike any other hostel/ guest house experience you'll have....in the best way possible. 

The free bikes are super useful and it's totally worth being just that extra km or two out of town.

This was a great stay. I didn't expect to eat all eve meals but this Gal really cooks. I let her know that I enjoy fish. Well, that's what I got 6 of 7 meals.
Elvis is cool n the others that hang out also.
They must hang around for leftovers.

GREAT LOCAL SPOT! Right on the beach 🏝 Fun spot away from touristy resorts. Affordable prices. Fantastic food! 5 min bicycle to downtown. Clean! Fantastic service. Definitely the spot for A TRUE BELIZEAN EXPERIENCE!
