The hotel is just outside city centre next to a lake / pond. Very clean and stylish hotel. The staff was friendly and the room decent size and comfortable. A good bed and nice bathroom

Breakfast was okay but they don’t seem to refill after 9 so several things have run out

Stylish hotel at a pond

This hotel deserves more customers - please go and stay! There were only three of the 20 rooms occupied when we stayed, but the owners couldn’t have done more to make us feel welcome for our overnight stay.  Situated on the quiet outskirts of Mechelen we were able to walk into the town in just over half an hour and then get the bus back. Breakfast was excellent with a good variety including fresh fruit salad, cereals, fresh bread and rolls, meats cheeses, boiled and scrambled eggs.  The hotel overlooks a fishing lake so a pretty outlook. We booked a standard room but it was perfectly adequate and had a very good shower, tea and coffee making facilities, complimentary water etc.  There was plenty of parking.  All in all, we were more than satisfied.

A very good hotel in a very good location

Large rooms with seated area, so perfect for a relaxing evening. The hotel overlooks a lake & is in a very quiet part of town. 
Downside is they don’t serve food, but can arrange take away to be delivered. 

They do a simple continental breakfast, with fresh cooked eggs & lovely fresh croissants.

Clean & tidy hotel, pleasant staff

I can't remember why I chose this hotel, but what a strange place. 
Its located in the suburbs of Mechelen and when we arrived o a sunday evening around 6.p.m, the hotel was deserted and no one at the reception or anywhere.
I mean this is a hotel, but we found the note with our key and found the room - as far away as it it could be ( we were the only guests at the hotel!"!!).
Very strange. 
The restaurant was shut down, so we went to town for dinner. No chance to get a beer or a drink.
Next morning - a very well breakfast was set for the two of us - and there was a guy at the reception to meet us.
Anyway - the room was fine, everything was OK , but ..... very strange. and for the price of 141 euro - for 1 night, it was not worth it.

Outside town

I stayed in this hotel twice for business purposes. 

Had the same type of room twice. It’s ok, but nothing special. Two separate beds, nice tv and the bathroom is also very nice. Looks recently renovated, which gives it a clean and comfortable look. 

Reception is until 22.00. Parking is free. The center is a bit further away, I went by car if needed (less than 10 min). Except for the lake, there’s not much around. 

Breakfast was ok, nothing special either. Options are limited compared to other hotels I’ve stayed in in Mechelen. 

Overall ok, but if other hotels are available (such as Elisabeth hotel or Mercure), I’d prefer to go there.
