I stayed here for two nights after driving from London. The place is an old manor with beautiful styling and taste throughout. There was space to park and the service was excellent. I slept well and the bed was very comfortable and room was clean. The price was low due to some minor renovations. Two small suggestions for improvement. First to put a sign on the gate to make easier to find. Secondly to somehow improve the shower as it was cramped with the curtain touching me. Anyway, overall I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The owner was very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I would recommend this place as a pleasant alternative with more character than the more clinical hotels in the area.
