Just back from Saint Anton am Arlberg with a large group of friends & had an absolute blast. St Anton is a superb ski resort. We had super snow & 4 days of sunshine. 

Hotel Sailer is 1 of the best hotels I have ever stayed in from a location location location perspective. It is literally next door to everything! & on top of the location, it is a really warm, comfortable, well equipped & immaculately cleaned hotel. The rooms are perfect, good size, the beds are really comfy. The rooms & ensuites are perfectly clean. The boot room in the hotel is ideal & safe with locked lockers allocated to each bedroom. The hot + cold breakfast was excellent, everything you would need to start off in the perfect way for a day on the slopes. There is also a lovely bar for a little relaxed Après-ski, if you want to leave or not head for the wildness of the MooserWirt or Krazy Kanguruh! We did partake in some of that wildness which was great fun!  

The icing on the cake if it was needed is Robert & the team in the hotel are so friendly & professional. Nothing is a problem. The whole experience with Robert from booking to check out could not have been smoother - he is a perfect gentleman & made everything so easy for all of our very large group. 

I would have no hesitation in highly recommending Hotel Sailer if going to St Anton for a few days or longer. We hope to be back in St Anton & Hotel Sailer again in the not too distant future.  Thanks again Robert to you & all your team for making our visit to St Anton & our stay in your hotel so enjoyable.

Top Class Hotel in every way.

A very pleasant hotel - fantastic central location (the best).
The hotel was very clean and the breakfast was good.  Robert the owners son was always so helpful and accommodating and went out of his way to look after us 👍

Fantastic location to the lifts bars restaurants and hire shops, but wouldn’t take my enemy there for a stay simply because the owner is the most rudest bitter arrogant angriest man I’ve met, he is massively in the wrong trade.
A very Austrian furnished hotel which is pleasant, but snarling management is not acceptable.
This man would go out of his way to growl. 
Never a hello or good morning or good evening.
Shame really as the location is perfect.
Loved the resort, always have always will, but stay well clear of this establishment. 
Restaurant and bar always empty, no surprise there. 
Didn’t let it spoil the holiday, thank god we only had to sleep there. 
Never again. 


Hotel owner is round the bend 

Just returned from a long weekend skiing. Hotel Sailer is in a prime location, right next door to the Rendelbahn lift, and in the centre of town with the Galzig lift a few minutes walk away. We travelled by train from Innsbruck, and you can almost see the Hotel from the station.

Any negative reviews about smoke can be ignored-St Anton is now smoke free, with no smoking anywhere indoors (at last!). Breakfast was fine--standard continental. Room was nice and clean, and staff were friendly. I'd definitely return.

Great Location, excellent experience

Final day in St.Anton looking around the village . Decided to go in for lunch. 
Great location next to shops and amenities. 
Tried the set lunch menu and had Steak Toast with mixed salad. Very tasty and good beer too.Varied menu 
Great views onto the Galzig slopes and watching the skiers and the bus sling village. 

Lovely lunch -time Meal 

Besides the fact that stinks because off the free smoking even with the doors opened at the restaurant we wanted to book a table for Saturday night so we first checked on the menu to see if it suits my family. The owner came and grabbed nervously the menu from my hands and talked very rude with me saying that they don’t accept booking for Saturday night dinner and we just have to come and try our luck - even explaining to him that we have kids with us -  and he added I cannot take the brochure with information to show it and decide with my family!!! He practically put me out of the door because I asked him to go and eat to his place - paying of course - and then he started to answer back in his own language. I don’t think he said nice things because he was “barking” instead of talking nicely like every smart owner would do with his clients. Definitely we got blessed to not eat there and will not even gonna try again.

Stay away!!! Very rude owner, very disappointing experience

We booked 3 rooms here for 9 days - date changes were well accommodated and the rooms very spacious and clean - loved the fluffy duvets !
The breakfast was ample - continental plus eggs and bacon and good coffee.
Enrico was always warm and friendly, and Robert was unbelievably helpful - nothing too much trouble from restaurant suggestions and bookings, ski instructor information plus finding a pack of poker cards!!
Hotel Sailer is in a great location close to both the Rendl and Gulzig ski lifts and across the road from a ski rental agency plus it has its own ski room.
The only negative input would be that its a smoking hotel so this could bother some people ...

Great location to ski lifts, good value for money, friendly helpful staff

We took two rooms here for a few nights to enjoy skiing in the area.  The staff were great, confirming reservation, welcoming us, sharing local knowledge and making sure our stay was great.  Rooms were updated and nice - clean and well fitted out with quality beds and bathroom.

Great hotel for a skiing vacation in St Anton

The accommodations were in keeping with the 3 stars and the location is of course great.  But I will never stay at this hotel.  The staff was angry, rude, bitter, and just plain mean.  Where did you find this collection of people who don’t care about the quality of their work or the welfare of people around them?  The woman and the man at the reception in the morning turned away someone genuinely in need without any care.  A truly disgusting display.  I hope whatever is causing your staff to act this way is temporary but I can only warn others to stay away.  

A truly horrible display of humanity

Stayed here 1 week. Located within 100 metre walk to galzig and rendl gondolas. Despite busy location it is nice and quiet at night, lots of restaurants and cafes within walking distance. Host was friendly and pleasant, happy to answer any questions  we had. Comfortable beds, warm room, good breakfast, but same every day which did get a little monotonous after a few days. The only thing we did not like was the fact that you can smoke inside, and this is evident the moment you step into the foyer, we did not stop for a drink at the bar for this reason, for non smokers non smoking rooms are available. A good value hotel for skiing trip, if you don’t mind the smoking.
