22 reviewsThis was our firs time in Bad Gastein for skiing - we have spent 4 nights in hotel Simander in December 2022. Hotel is well located (10-15 minutes by foot from the main train station, ski slopes and thermal spas) in a quiet neighborhood and with a free parking. Rooms were spacious, warm, comfy, bright and spotless clean with a great view of mountains from the balcony. Beds were comfortable and Wi-Fi was mostly good. Food was great and very tasty with large portions - good varieties on breakfast, two choices for main course for dinner with soup and dessert included. Gints and the rest of the staff (waiters, chef, cleaning) were great, helpful and very friendly and we really felt very welcomed there. We also recommend some local schapps or bear served there. Thank you, we will be back for sure :)
