Our second year at Thredbo for the Easter holidays and this time we plumped for the Lhotsky apartments - not quite so many steps up the hill from the village. We had Apartment 1 and it was fantastic - 2 spacious bedrooms and bathrooms down stairs and a large living, dining kitchen area upstairs. The kitchen had everything you could ever need for a self catering stay - very well equipped. Pretty quiet spot about 3 minutes walk along Diggings Terrace to the main village. Our place had two balconies both with views to the chairlift. The best bit about this place was the heated floor in the main bedroom en-suite - would be sensational in winter.

Easter Family Break

First time staying at Lhotsky, but will be back. 

Stayed in Apartment 5, 2 bedroom. Plenty of room, 2 bathrooms so kids had their own. Son was happy with the internet speed, and room had all amenities. A few stairs to navigate, but nothing to demanding. 

Apartment was warm (too hot if anything) and had full laundry facilities, drying cupboard and outdoor ski cupboard. Full kitchen and loungeroom, and views of the mountain, (some trees blocking views but still good). Large balcony with bbq. Plenty of lounge space to spread out.

Parking was tight, but once in, car sits there for the week. (A staff member came to shovel snow and guide me in on arrival, very helpful). I should have rang ahead, as keys needed to be picked up from Lantern (my fault), but only a short drive up the road.
Lhotsky is on bus route 2, and there is a stop 100 metres (in both directions) that goes to Friday Flats and Valley Terminal, these run constantly all day (longest wait was less than 5 minutes)
 
Close to village, and restaurants in Thredbo.

The washing machine and dryer were very useful although the dryer had to be reset during each drying cycle. The apartment is an easy walk to the village and restaurants. The apartment is a reasonable size for two people. The internet is very fast and very reliable. 
We were only given a check in address and not that we had to go to the Lantern hotel to check in. The building directly in front is being rebuilt so there was a lot of construction noise. Although booking.com stated that there is free parking you have to buy a National Park parking sticker at $17 per day to park in Thredbo. The mattress needs to be replaced as it sagging on both sides. The linen is well overdue for replacement and the blanket smelt like mice. The bathroom is small, very dated and along with the apartment is overdue for a renovation. Access to the apartment is difficult down a number of stairs. The heating is very difficult to control and there are no instructions. The curtains/blinds don't fit the window sizes and were damaged. The check out and key instructions in the apartment are outdated and incorrect. Although the apartment has a very nice dishwasher there is no dishwasher powder or tablets and the local supermarket did not have any in stock. Although the apartment carpets and couch had recently been shampooed, when we arrived all the furniture was stacked up off the floor and not ready for our occupation. The apartment is very over furnished and there are no actual photos of this apartment on booking.com so we were a little surprised that it had no resemblance to our expectations of what it should look like.

Maybe OK for young snow boarders

A great little place to stay in Thredbo. The apartment was well equipped in the kitchen and bathroom and had a washing machine and dryer which really came in handy after the cold and wet trek up to Kozzie! I liked the fact that it had a shortcut back entry onto the river and main street, which comes in handy on the steep terrain. Upside - location, quality of apartment, friendly staff (thanks Scott) and solid heating in room. Downside - sofa bed could be bigger and more sturdy and would be a bonus to have a tie up with a local spa/sauna in Tredbo. Otherwise top notch!

Great place to stay ideal location too

3 bedroom apartment great, fully equipped kitchen with a laundromat.  Comfortable with 3 bedrooms, loft and 3 bathrooms if you a big family. Apartment equipped with and outside barbeque and a nice cosy fireplace. Firewood supplied. Private parking for each unit. Apartment very centrally located, with a great view of the mountain.
