International Hostel Yerevan

We spent 2015 new year holidays in this hotel with few friends from 29th of Dec 2014 until 3rd of Jan 2015. Location: The best location in town, pretty close to city main square (Republic Sq.), few steps to shops and malls. Lots of restaurants nearby, few minutes to the most famous walking streets of Yerevan, and good and easy access to the tourist attraction areas. Staff: Although in Armenia, people normally do not speak so much English and this may cause you troubles but all the staff in hotel speak good English. They are so kind, so friendly, so helpful, very polite, and they are happy to share you perfect information, then even do bookings for you for city tours or restaurants without any kind of expectations. Here I would like to say my deep acknowledgements and my being thankfulness specially to Gevorg, Sofia & Mane who really helps their guest to enjoy more of staying in this hotel. Rooms: Clean, cozy, good balcony, smoking rooms available, fair sleep quality, fast room service, LCD TV with enough number of channels, safe box, hair dryer, free tea & coffee & water everyday, very clean bathroom, Breakfast: I like the hotel breakfast, live omelet, fresh breads, fresh fruit juice, not repetitious, plenty of hot & cold choices, nice service, not crowded, you are not have to wait for picking meals, your are not have wait for tables to be empty, Its a standard breakfast which will satisfy you. Hotel Properties: Although hotel is not equipped with a very large lobby but this lobby is clean and well designed. Of course you can find a nice coffee shop at the other side of lobby. You can have fast enough FREE WiFi internet access either in public areas and inside the rooms. Hotel pool and spa is a great place to relax, clean, cozy, not crowded, most important is 24 hour service, you may order drinks while enjoying the pool and sauna or jacuzzi. Lifts are okay and you never have to wait more the you need for elevators to come. Best Choice: Yes... indeed because Marriott and other chain brand hotels in Yerevan are either too old or not well located. Value For Money: Yes of course. Not so luxurious but beautiful enough, new, clean, and practical. Overall: If I am going to stay in Yerevan once more time, International is my one and only choice, even if it would be full, I'd change my trip date to match with this hotel. So I do recommend it to you.
