Nice place, quiet, very pleasant staff, the nice place, the spacious surroundings. Comfortable to be in the common spaces. We needed breakfast earlier and were willing to offer it Beautiful place.

De paso to Chile, relaxed

Location is a great choice for overnight stays. Mainly for travelers who are crossing the Andes. The region has bars and great options for barbecue and other local food items. Stunning mountain views and hiking options. The region holds interesting surprises such as the curious location for Jean-Jacques Annaud's film 7 Years in Tibet with Brad Pitt, David Thewlis, where the set was almost entirely set around the region.

It's a great option.

Negative - The price/quality ratio didn't seem right to me. - The facilities have a lot to improve, as well as the cleaning. - We were hit by a super-small room that looked out the way, the noise of cars all night, the same as the noise of other guests transmitting through the thin walls. - A tiny pool. - Away from the center of Uspallata. Positivo - Meets the goal of being a place for a night before continuing the trip. - The staff who attended was very kind. - Very good breakfast with homemade mermaids. - Beautiful surroundings, including the back park of the establishment. - It has a lot of potential to improve.

It can be improved.

We booked a double room, the frame of bed was completely broken, there were cockroaches running around. The manager was not surprised and did not really care at all. In the end we ended up in a dorm room and did not get any money back. The atmosphere was not good either, we changed the hostel the next morning.

But neither is anything too good.The parts lack maintenance, you notice that there is a chiqui left, but one can pass without problems, plus the price is modicum.The surroundings are precious.

While the attention and hospitality is extraordinary, it is worth noting that the bedrooms are very low, without maintenance...my boys..as for the dining room has everything needed to cook,etc...it is a whole common place.The home breakfast,excelente...very good disposition of everyone...To spend the night uniquely and especially for the masks without a doubt the best place...

Hostel special backpackers and solo tours.

This hostel, although it has four bedrooms with a private bathroom, for its price is not appropriate.I think it is aimed only at travelers with a narrow budget and still, if one walks, one can get a similar price with more services.

No recommended for families.

Beautiful place. Comodo. Alejado del pueblo (7km). Clean and with all amenities. You can go for a walk alone or accompanied. Cabalgatas. Rafting. Fogon. A variety of activities offered. At night there is an abundant and rich dinner at affordable prices. A place to visit again and again. More than recommended.

A great place to chill out.

Host staff doesn't have a passion to serve. Probably he is one of an owner of this hostel. So, it is better not to stay here. He is really rude when saying something.
Breakfast starts from 9AM. So, it is too late to serve.
Price is dubious. He probably said to me a different price from other guest of same room. 10% discount of Youth Hostel International Member Card is not working at all. He said price once before showing Member Card. Then, I showed Member Card but he said same price. "normal price is more higher, discount price is the price". Actually final price is the same price of other non-member guest. He is really dubious.
Room is not good but room is OK with the price. It is acceptable.
When I stay, water in bathroom doesn't come for long time. He rudely said to me to wait 20 min. Other guest also had some kind of unpleasure feeling at that time probably.
The window in big room is broken and it is probably not fixed for long.
The outdoor facilities may be good. So, it may be good if you use outdoor facilities but I'm not sure if it is good maintained because I didn't use them. I just saw them.
In total, if you just sleep in bed... this may be OK with the price. Still probably you can stay more better hotel with same price range. If you need to stay in this town while moving, this may be OK just for short stay.

Host staff is rude. I don't recommend to stay.

You should avoid this hostel. It's very old. The beds are old, the sheets are torn, the matresses should have been replaced years ago. The cushion was a cotton bag with flocks of mousse. 

Basic hygiene in the rooms is not ok. Also the reception area, breakfast area hadn't been cleaned for quite some time.

This was the worst and dirtiest hostel I ever slept in. You should really avoid this place!
