Beware of this place, apartments were not what we booked. We booked apartment with x3 dbl beds (sofa and normal) instead we got bunks. There was also hidden charges and were charged onto our card after we left as we had to leave early we were not able to be in apartment when they checked, We have been charged for a broken sofa bed (wood was chipped when we arrived) and also for cleaning (we even mopped the floors!). Careful when booking here!

Small flat, smelled bad,they charged us even though we cleaned, by the time we finished cleaning ,it was cleaner than when we arrived ,charged us for a broken sofa bed which was already broken ,wouldn’t recommend to anyone ,didn’t even get towels for the shower ,beds were crap smelly blankets 

Ski holiday 

No nearby parking. We were given only bed sheets and no towels so we had to purchase them. Beds are very uncomfortable and totally worn out. We cleaned the whole apartment and left it in perfect condition and still was charged extra money for cleaner and some damage which was already there. So be careful this could happen to all of you.

Find another apartment!

Stayed 3 nights in an apartment booked through Grifo Vacances. The apartment was small for 4 our group of four people. One bunkbed and one foldout double bed. 
There was also a really bad smell in the apartment from old food in the sink. The company make you clean the apartment before you leave, but they don't really check the cleaning very well hence the smell. Deposit was 200€ for 3 nights, which might be a bit to much. The only positive thing is the location, but then again, everything is well within walking distance in Pas de la Casa. 

You also need to book a time for inspection, we had to walk down to remind them about it, so leave plenty of time for that.

There must be better places to stay at in Pas de la Casa

Firstly, you do not know what you are booking. We booked with the agency in booking.com. The company manages several apartments and they inform you by mail that another one will be assigned to you because the one published in booking.com is no longer available.

The agency charges you half of the cost of the rental at the moment of booking the apartment, but the advert does not display all the rental conditions. You only discover them afterwards.

When we arrived to the agency they had already charged us the rest of the rental in the credit card that we used to reserve the apartment, without asking us or warning us beforehand. They also asked us to leave cash deposit. They had also increased the prices for renting the towels, claiming the prices explained in our reservation where those of last year.

The agency also gave us a new list of menacing and abusing conditions (I’ll try to include a copy as picture) to restore such deposit, including the request to fully clean the apartment at the end of the rental. None of these conditions were explained in the rental advert before any payment.

The apartment itself is placed very next to the ski slopes. However, I warn you to look elsewere to stay, Pas de la Casa is such a tiny place that there is no need to be so close to the skilifts.

The apartment was reasonably big, with the exception of the tiny wc, were one tall person would need to keep the door open in order to use it sat.

There were a reasonable number of kitchen tools and appliances (toaster, modern tv). No wifi. The toilet deposit was leaking water continuously, no leakage on the floor, but endless noise in addition to the ecological waste. We warned the agency which did nothing to solve it.

The apartment could have cleaner when we entered. I am not surprised, knowing now that the customers take care of the cleaning.
