Got family cabin, customer service was great but hotel is very neglected…..

Family cabin suite

Ok the service here was great. I wish I could rate it full stars for the service alone. Downsides were that The pool was out of service, but I wasn’t expecting it to be open anyways, and the pool wasn’t advertised. Also there is no AC in the rooms and I need the temp to be very cold when I sleep so that was a dealbreaker for us booking there again. Also, at one point we opened the back window (which had no screen) and there was a bear outside the window because the trash cans were literally right outside the back of our window. So in addition to it being hot, we couldnt open the back window to get airflow because the bear lunged at my husband when he had looked out there. Very clean, water was scalding hot, or cold,  had to find the sweet spot.

Nice place

Place was nice and quiet but what I did not like is the room didn't have A/C and fan wasn’t working. They should add A/C to the rooms is very necessary for summer time.

Advertised there was ac and room had no ac! View out of the windows had boarded up areas with trash and tools everywhere. The bathroom had bugs in it.

There is no air-conditioning room, small shower, can hear all conversations from the next room, and the property is very old.

No AC, no window screens on the windows so you risk bugs flying into your room if you open a window. The place is clean however does need some TLC. The woman at the desk tho was super sweet and helpful. Not sure if I would care to stay her again but if I have to for the price its an option.

Last minute Tahoe trip

Other than the rowdy neighbors the place was decent to stay at.

The listing claimed the room had A/C, but there was not.  The windows didn’t have screens either, so we were eaten alive by mosquitoes all night.Pictures are misleading - certainly make it look like a private bungalow or something.  They are really just drive up motel rooms.  The property has been renovated, and the staff is very friendly.

The pictures were completely different from the actual hotel. The lights didn’t work when we told the manager she came and looked and said yeah we need an electrician. Then checked out another light and twisted the light bulb in told us it worked but there was no way to turn the light off without twisting the bulb, burning our fingers at the end of the day. Only one outlet worked. The floors were so dirty. Had to wear shoes the whole time. Shower was super small as well as the whole bathroom. We had ants crawling on us in our sleep and a good amount of cobwebs. The window in the front didn’t have a screen so we couldn’t open it and the window in the bathroom didn’t have a lock so I had to use my curling iron as a lock on the window. There was no phone to call front desk with our concerns and we were gone during the day when staff was there.
