The Indian lady at the front desk is the owner. She charged me 61 for a room with mold on the ceilings. Holes in the walls, some patched others not. The towel rack was hanging by a single screw. The carpeting had patch work, looks as if they ripped up pieces and placed newer pieces in its place. My feet kept lifting up the corners and I had to personally try to fix their rug.  In the shower area, we were only given two towels. I asked for more since I was staying in a double bed room with grandfather and husband. The lady said it costs. Then, we were only given a bar of soap and a single packet of shampoo/conditioner combined. I asked for two more packets but that costs too. 
Overall, the lady was completely rude when asked questions. She called me an idiot, told me to stop acting like I am somebody and lastly said I could check out if I didn't like the accommodations.
 I'm sorry I thought, I was this company customer and wasn't asking for anything unrealistic. Apparently, asking for a third towel and shampoo is too high and mighty for this self owned hotel. 
My two cents, this hotel is owned by people who have no education in the hospitality business and should be shut down immediately. This is a hazard!!!

Bad service, rude owners

Just needed an extra blanket for my little girl. The man working the desk who bluntly expressed that he was also the owner said I had to buy a roll out bed to get extra blanket! Upon checkout I came outside to see the owner walking over to another hotel across the parking lot. He looked back and seen me trying to check out. I waited for a few minutes then had to get a cleaning lady to notify someone to check us out!

Bad customer service!

Stayed here not too long ago while I was passing through, staff was friendly, rooms were not expensive and was very clean and nice. Also seemed very safe, especially because it is right infront of some state police HQ. Will stay here again next time I am going through this area!

Great Stay

We were actually going to stay at the Econo Lodge near the Rest Inn and when we pulled into the Econo Lodge parking lot we spotted the Rest Inn. The Rest Inn had rooms that allowed for parking just outside the room which is what we like while traveling on motorcycles. We were pleantly surprised when we inquired about room rates and were allowed to look at a room before making a committment. Once we say the room we decided to stay. The room was cleas and the provided for a nice rest. The oweners are forieng but they seem to care about the property and making it a success.

Pleasant Surprise

Owned and ran by foreigners; however, Clean, safe, and cheap for those that need rest, a bed, & shower.  Stayed in room #101 which was clean and smelled fresh. Bed, bathroom, and carpet was clean.  The surrounding area of the hotel felt secure and safe. oh...btw, this listing should be removed from the b&b section.  It is only a small motel.
