After we got into room, could not access the safe. Went to front desk and they stated that they did not have key for safe. They changed our room for one with safe. When we went to the next room, it had a double bed (we requested a king) and the safe was in a closet which was locked and nobody had the key. The tried to put us on the second floor at which time we reminded them that we requested ground floor due to fact we could not do stairs (no elevator available). We finally had to settle for the original room, and had to make sure we took our valuables with us when we went to a restaurant.

In addition, for being on the Las Vegas strip, the area was not conducive to feeling any degree of personal safety.  

If there was a time where I had wished that I stayed in the back seat of my car, this was it.

Motel Hell!

This hotel is one of the worst I have ever seen in over 20 years of traveling.  We made an online reservation for New Years over a month before 12/31.  We arrived at the hotel at 9:00 PM only to find that it was closed for the night.  Who closes as a hotel chain at 9:00 PM.  I will tell you. This one.  They are in the middle of the ghetto and have a bunch of dangerous people hanging around.  We were left by our cab after spending over $700 on a flight without a place to stay.  We had to walk up and down the street for an hour to find another hotel room.  Then there was another 2 hour wait for a cab.  This completely destroyed an over $1000 total trip.  If you love getting offered drugs by residents then this is the place to be.
