I have stayed here once before, and it was a fine hotel, nothing to write home about, though it didn’t break the bank. This time however, was incredibly disappointing. I arrived one hour after the check in time- with a reservation, just to find out my room had been sold off to someone else. The desk clerk said his brother had given the room out while he was away. Their reservations seem to be written down on paper. I do not recommend taking the gamble on this place. Now I’m scrambling to find accommodation when I reserved a room several months ago. I’m crossposting this review from Google so more people are aware.

Gave our reserved room to someone else

Took an archaeology course this weekend that involved the Virginia Depart of Historic Resources next to the Art Museum and a practical exercise on the James River originating at Osbore's Landing. The AirportInn was ideally situated between both locals.... About 16 minutes from each. The hotel is your typical 50s L shaped single story. Run by a South Asian who obviously takes pride in his establshment. The room had a comfortable king bed and sleep perfect pillows. The sink and bathrooms had been both upgraded recently and maintained in excellent condition. The only drawback was the lack of a breakfast offering.

Surprisingly comfortable and affordable

I tried calling to get information about their policies, and the person who answered immediately said "No XXXXXX" and hanged up on me without giving me a chance to ask questions. I called back, to the business not answering my calls. Very unprofessional. 

Having a lot of health issues, I needed more information, which I am unable to get. Their google website brings you to a different hotel website. 

I do not endorse businesses that treat their customers so poorly.  While the place is cheap, you are getting what you paid for.  There are a lot of other hotels and motels in the area that are worth considering.

Terrible Customer Service

This is a small motel maybe 15 rooms with 1 level on a busy road. The room was clean. I checked for bed bugs, none. (Sorry I do that when I first go in any room now days.) This motel lists itself as nonsmoking and I wanted to make certain it was. It was. The cleaning odor was a bit strong but I took care of that by running the AC a few minutes. I am sensitive to chemical smells so I noticed it but my husband did not so many people wouldn't.
We had no problems during our stay of a few days. There was any kind of shopping, groceries and restaurants within a mile of us. There was everything in the room I needed except a coffee maker. However I took care of that at McDonald's :).
It was quiet as far as our neighbors and I would stay there again. The only problem I had I knew from the beginning. They have a no refund policy  which is why their rate is not as high as others.

Super clean, friendly staff

This is a small motel maybe 15 rooms. It is on a main street and 10 minutes from Richmond Convention Center where I going. The room was clean. The cleaning smell was a little strong but I am sensitive to smell. My husband didn't notice it. It was quiet except for normal traffic.
There are all sorts of food, shopping, etc within a mile of it. Grocery and drug store within walking distance. For me the only thing that would have made it better would have been a coffee pot in the room. It had a microwave and frig though.
The no refund cancellation policy is not surprising for the price.

Convenient, clean, small

Short review: This place is CLEAN.
Long review: Older motel that has been renewed with obvious pride and care. This is Richmond so you, obviously, need to refrain from doing anything dumb, like leaving your car unlocked or with valuables in plain view. Our room was pretty big, had a fridge, microwave, iron and board and hairdryer. No coffee maker. No coffee in office but the room value was so outstanding... The water pressure was great. The mattress was okay but the pillows weren't to our liking. If you like huge memory foam pillows, you'll love these. I heard the person in the next room sneeze quite loudly a few times but the room was otherwise quiet. There is a grocery store right across the street and all kinds of eating places nearby.
