Great little guest house, spotlessly clean.inly a short walk to the city center .The room had all the basic amienties we needed.the owner was really helpful and friendly.great value for money.Would definitely recommend.

We stayed at York House and the caravan was even better than expected. Very well equipped. Like the site it was immaculate. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The site also had a large football field and great kids play area for the young ones. Good on site facilities and a cafe with outdoor seating. 

Situated close to Thirsk makes it a great base in North Yorkshire under Sutton Bank and half an hour from York. 

Wish we had stayed longer. A very comfortable and relaxing stay.

Our stay at Blenheim guest house was great. Friendly and kind host. Our room was clean and comfortable. Also very close to the town centre.

Great location when visiting York, only a ten minute walk to the city centre. Room was comfy, clean and big. Nice bath sheets in the bathroom. The owners have been very thoughtful and left additional room supplys in easy reach should they be needed. Great breakfast with lots of choice. Limited parking at the front. Very friendly staff, pleasant place to stay, highly recommended would stay again if in York

We stayed at York House when in York to celebrate our engagement. It was a lovely surprise to find wine & chocs in our room on arrival. The customer service was excellent & Stewart was so accommodating. The breakfasts were lovely with a great vegetarian choice. There's free parking at the hotel and it's only a 10 minute stroll into York city centre. The bus stop which is right outside the hotel takes you into the city for just a £1. Will definitely stay again next time we visit York.

Staff very friendly and extremely helpful in times of need. Even though we got locked out at 00:30 hours he answered the phone and came to save us. Break was amazing and couldn't be more pleased with the standard. Everything fantastic the bathrooms are clean and designed very well but the only downside is shower wasn't very powerful.

The room is lovely as reminder my partner old house and the bathroom is separate but private for the room number 4 only.  It about 10-15 minutes walk it depend on your speed of walking. They will give you the key fob to access and it easy to use.  Roger is a lovely man.

My stay at the Guest house was minimum due to going out, it was clean host were pleasant.Bed very comfortable

Very convenient for buses into York car park just down the road and only £6per 24hours. Also host allowed me to use the fridge very helpful and friendly

Me and the mrs stayed here on a saturday night for her birthday and found the place really nice ! The place is in good nick and the staff are really friendly. The breakfast was spot on and the location is good ! The only thing i could moan about is the parking as this is limited , but you can park around the corner free of charge ! I would definatley stay here again .
