We had an absolutely perfect stay here, the staff were the nicest I've ever experienced, the rooms beautiful, they allowed us early check in without an extra charge, they ensured a parking space was kept for us after I rang up and to top it all off breakfast was cracking, 100% will be returning. Couldn't fault it if I tried

even though ive rated 4 out of 5 i feel the need to say a few things first being  that check in is a little late usually around 2pm its 4pm here  the room number 7 was ideal for me on ground level and it was a cosy room downfall was the kettle there was no plug near the complimentary tray so had to boil on the floor near the fridge and also kettle did not fit under the tap so had to fill up with a cup. The coat hanging was a bit difficult they didnt come off the rail. there was a good hair dryer but nowhere to see what you were doing the mirror at the back of the door could have done with a plug near it . all just needs re configuring . the breakfast was good but the fried eggs where always hard so opted for scrambled on last morning. The staff are wellcoming thats a big plus for me and the place is ideal for walking into the town .

Near to everything.

We have just returned from a lovely stay in the lakes, problem with room on arrival but was sorted straight away. Breakfast was good and lady serving breakfast was lovely made sure you left full. Hotel was closing for 6 weeks to do some renovation and updating which is good overall would stay again.

Room 8 Very small no hanging space in the wardrobe. Could not fill the kettle up in the sink cups and spoons dirty. Needs a good paint touch up. I would rather stay somewhere else. Why too small pictures on Web site are miss leading. Maybe rooms are better outside the annex

Easy check in. Great breakfast and showers

We booked for 4 nights but had to change rooms after the 2nd night.  The mattress in room 5 was stained and smelly. The room had a beam across the bed (with lots of wires behind it!) and we both banged our head on the beam.  Not sure why such a small room had a three seater sofa in it. The new room, room 10, was much nicer and fresher.  The staff were very friendly and helpful.

A trip of two halves.

I had to ring to find out room number but was fine after that rather small room but well decorated and handy plugs and a light thing, charger which didn't work. I loved the Japanese loo thing. And fab bathroom. Great welcome at breakfast, quick and professional.

Room was not very big, but stylish and with facilities such as wireless chargers, multi-colored led lights, shower toilet etc.Breakfast options were a bit limited, but service has great.Only issue was the traffic outside which was quite noisy, combined with heat forcing us to keep windows.

Good Location. Comfy bed and great shower plus lovely toiletries. Parking was a bonus. Breakfast good overall. Disappointing one day. The Spanish waitress was a delight. Not sure if we met Margaret that previous reviewers speak off, maybe she has reduced her visits to the B& B.    Room 4 was cramped for two. Very small wardrobe and limited storage but it was clean. We had no trouble with noise. Stayed 4 days.
