We thoroughly enjoyed our week's stay at the Rectory. Wendy is an amazing host. The family room we had was spot on, the breakfast was amazing and the location was so peaceful and beautiful. We would highly recommend.

Amazing b&b in the countryside 

Had our 2nd stay here in June, wanted to visit Skomer to see the Puffins as we missed out lasty year due to the weather. This is an amazing place to stay, Wendy is just a superb host the breakfast is brilliant the whole house is spotless. We stayed in the room with the en-suite very comfortable and quiet. This is quite a remote B & B but only 20min from the coast and plenty of options of where to eat and spend time exploring the superb coastline Pembrokeshire has to offer. We will be back from another stay very soon . Good parking, great welsh cakes on arrival and a very warm welcome from Wendy. 

Another great stay

A very traditional abode.Family run..great grounds and traditional breakfast..The bedroom had a great view..Greeted by the lovely dogs and host..Very very quiet location..You need to have transport to explore or just stay on-site...Very clean had a family feel..Had a choice of breakfast time..

Quiet and gorgeous location - family run too!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this peaceful, authentic farmhouse. Wendy’s breakfasts and the welcome Welsh cakes were delicious. The family room was clean, comfortable and well equipped. It was just a few minutes drive from Little Haven and Broad Haven and also very convenient for Dale and Marloes. There is nature reserve at the end of the drive with a pleasant 1 hour woodland walk around the lake.

A friendly,  very comfortable on farm stay.

We spent 5 nights at Rectory Farm in May 2022 we wanted somewhere quiet and handy for the Pembrokshire coast this location delivered on that. Nice and close to Skomer Island for the Puffins only 20 min to some amazing coastline and beaches.

We arrived late due to massive traffic problems we still had a very warm welcome. There are only 2 rooms here, we had the family room which was a good size we even had a 2 seater sofa good size TV although we never use one on holiday. The bed was the most comfortable we have had in a long time comfy pillows. The whole house was spotless, our room was cleaned every day. Superb breakfast choices plenty of juice, cereal and fresh fruit the cooked breakfast is superb. Wendy is an awesome host, friendly, helpful with suggestions of places to go very keen for you to have a good time. Our trip to visit Skomer Island was cancelled due to the weather, Wendy suggested a boat trip round the island the following day which was a great substitute. We will be booking again for next year.  

This stay was more like staying with friends and family rather than a B & B business.

Superb B & B

An excellent stay at this lovely old working farm house. Wendy made us very welcome and supplied local knowledge of the area as well as Welsh cakes on arrival with our cup of tea. Good position for visiting the area but quiet and peaceful. Excellent value for money. 

Warm welcome

We arrived after a long drive to a warm welcome and homemade cake. 

It's a real farm house down a track which just states Rectory Farm at the road end. There are thick bedroom walls where one can sit in the window recess to read a book and watch the sheep dogs. The room was spotless but homely with real Welsh rugs dressing the bed, lovely bed linen, and a truly comfortable mattress (so much so I searched for the label to get one).  

The breakfast was delicious with juices, yogurts and fresh fruit as well as muesli and cereal, and the full English cooked to perfection.

 When we came back drenched from walking Wendy dried our boots by the Aga. On the sunny evening we sat in the garden with our wine overlooking the pond. 

We stayed 3 nights but when we realised how close everything was we wished we’d booked for the week. We felt like we had stayed with a friend rather than a host.

Just what was needed

This lovely place was everything that we had wanted.
A super quiet location yet in the heart of Pembrokeshire with nothing much more than a 30 minute drive away.
Wendy was the most superb host - she advised us on local places and made some most useful suggestions. She cooked us brilliant breakfasts that we miss so much now we are back home!
Our room was very large, with a settee for chilling in the evenings, though we spent a lot of the time later in the day sitting down by the pond to eat and watching the bats!
The whole house was spotlessly clean, and we felt very safe as our visit was in Covid times with hand sanitisers at point of entry and on arrival upstairs.
The Pembrokeshire coast is stunning and we did many walks, often only driving 10 minutes to a starting point. We would love to visit again sometime and would definitely chose the same place to stay.

Perfect choice for a quiet country break

What can i say? Such an amazing place to stay. The host Wendy was such a lovely lady. Her breakfast were top notch and certainly set us up for the day. She was knowledgeable about the surrounding area and made our trip a very memorable one. The room was gorgeous and very tastefully decorated, in keeping with the period of the cottage. In our room there was tea, coffee etc, fresh milk, water and fruit cake which was very much needed after our 5 hour journey.
Wendy was very careful regarding covid precautions and hand sanitisers etc were on hand everywhere, we felt very safe.
 The area is stunning and so quiet. A 10 minute drive takes you in to Little Haven and the lovely St Brides restaurant. We enjoyed our stay so much that we have booked for next May and hopefully get to see the Puffins.

Perfect

The host Wendy was top notch. Great breakfast and homely feel to the place. No restrictions on coming and going. Lots to do and visit.Great for couples but accommodates small families. There are various 'Havens' to visit. Little haven has the best Pub/food place. Nolton Haven brings you the edge of the UK!
