Very comfortable lodgings, welcoming host- great comms. Comfortable rooms, everything that you need inc very Wi-Fi,  although EE mobile worked well; good freeview tv too. Close to the ferry (stops at  2130) and high street, plenty of parking. Nice breakfast and friendly chef-host. Great value. Ideal as a base to explore from or a family get together. Some upstairs floor 2 rooms have a view over the Tamar.

We rented the whole house for a family gathering, Very clean and comfortable , everyone slept well , everything you need and a 2 minute walk from Torpoint town , with some great pubs and takeaways , highly recommended

Residential area, plenty street parking. Clear and easy to follow instructions from owners to get keys. Lovely house, well presented with large lounge with board games and books. Stayed in Nunns room on top floor which is a twin, good size room same with the ensuite.  Good choice of drinks on hospitality tray and nice touch with the chocolate biscuits! Beds very comfortable and very quiet area so got a good night sleep. Special thanks to Sanvy who greeted us so warmly at breakfast setting us up for the day with a delicious cooked breakfast! This is a really good b&b, and its only a few mins walk into the town to get to the shops and close to the ferry terminal. 

Very good stay

Arrival was very easy, instructions text to us on the day. Lovely room, everything we needed provided. Great view from the room, super breakfast and lovely to chat with fellow guests. This was a nostalgic trip for us, visiting HMS Raleigh for first time in 52 years, the hotel was ideally situated for this.

Fantastic Bed and Breakfast and highly recommend, easy to find and room was very comfortable, breakfast excellent and communications perfect. Was texted very specific instructions on the arrival date and had to use the door lock box on arrival.

Excellent check in via text by Milton. Extremely clean. Rooms well equipped with kettle and tea coffee etc nice touches toiletries. Breakfast is superb cooked by Pascalle in a beautiful open kitchen with a full english cooked to order.

We received a text with instructions how to obtain the keys. Check in was very easy although we were informed our accommodation was at the top of the house so off we went up the stairs with our suitcase. Actually we were on the first floor. Negative points: The bathroom and shower were very small. Their was a huge stain on the carpet. There was dust on the picture frames and lights (this was visible, I wasn't looking for it) Positives, the bed was comfy and the staff were nice. Also the breakfast was nice, even though we had to share a sausage (this was our error though when we booked in, it only showed as a single person on booking.com)  It was very near to friends we were visiting so the location was convenient. This B&B is advertised as 4 star on booking.com but it is not a 4 star rating in my opinion. I would have marked it higher on here had it classed itself a lower rating. That being said, it was a pleasant place to stay. 



Not a 4 star 

My wife and I stayed at the Cambridge House Guest House in TORPOINT for two days recently . We stayed in order to watch our grandson pass out at HMS Raleigh . The location is great just a few minutes along the road to the venue for the event . 
The guest house is very good , clean tidy and with easy on-road parking outside . Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and they are very welcoming . 
Our room was quite good but the bathroom was small and we even had to come outside in order to dry ourselves properly . We had two nights of good sleep because the bed was very comfortable .and the breakfast is very good with everyone’s tastes catered for . 
There are cafes and shops and pubs nearby and it is easy to access the ferry over to Plymouth . 
The  guest house is rated at four stars which I think is very generous I would rate it three stars but would definitely stay again if in the area . 
The staff are great and nothing is too much trouble thank you to everyone .
