Popped in for breakfast whilst Christmas shopping with friends in Telford, stayed here a few times but just come over for the day this time.
The breakfast as always was great, nothing to fault and the staff are always friendly and helpful! 
Thank you, I will return in the new year 😊

Great Breakfast

Just went for a walk in breakfast but value for money was exceptional. Food really fresh and mushrooms were to die for. So much choice, friendly staff, would visit again, kids loved the pancakes. Charlotte was super friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble

Amazing breakfast

Me and my husband stayed a couple nights last month for the Snooker championship down the road. The international centre is only a 5/10 minute walk away so was very convenient for us. We had a very nice stay and also dined in the restaurant. Special shout-out to C.J. who opened the restaurant early for us one of the days  (it opens at 6.30). This was very kind because it was busy for the staff I could see. He also gave us fresh milk because I don’t like the little milk pots. A very charming young man we wish him all the best for the future. the fish and chips was very good quality for the price of the meal deal. The other gentlemen who served our drinks was also very pleasant. In the morning the breakfast was lovely and the two girls did superbly I didn’t get there names. We will definitely be coming back again for next years tournament.

Lovely hotel and staff

From check in, hotel was very very busy. Mel, Charlotte and Morgan were supportive, lighthearted and acted professionally making not just the check in but the experience with staying 2 nights stress free and easy.

Stayed with my 7vyear old son so had a family room it was very clean and spacious beds was really comfortable next day had breakfast staff was very friendly and helpful food was delicious was a great range to choose from location was perfect to do everything I wanted to do with my son would definitely recommend and will definitely be returning 

Great hotel

Hotel seems keep quite new. Nice breakfast especially free for kid, It’s was surprise for us. Our family are good sleep and comfortable quilt. We will come again for next time visit our relatives in Telford.

Anson

Cheap parking and good location are its main draw.
The room was clean and quiet as we were at the back.
Aircon worked well in 32c heat but the drains in the bathroom did smell.
We would stay again if attending an event. 
Plenty of food options outside the front door if you don't want to eat here.

Location wise excellent for an event.

Toilet had poo on the seat and bowl. Checked in during the evening so no housekeeping staff were available. The staff member on reception kindly offered to clean the toilet and did so quickly. However he unfortunately missed quite a lot of the mess so we ended up cleaning it ourselves anyway. 

The carpets in the room had a general feeling of stickiness and needs a good shampooing. I wouldn’t let my daughter play on the carpets which is a first for me. 

I also wish they would provide better bin liners. They’re comically small and thin and do not fit the size of the bins at all. It must be so difficult for housekeeping to have to use such inadequate bags. They probably spend too much time picking up scattered rubbish that they don’t have time to clean the toilets properly. 

The parking situation is also rather poorly explained. We were in and out of the car park more than once in the same day but validating the parking at the hotel for exit meant we actually paid more than normal. Putting our reg into the machine meant our parking would be fixed at £3 every time we wanted to exit even if we spent 30 mins in the car park. If you’re going in and out of the car park you could potentially rack up multiple £3 fees in a single day when really it should be £3 for any 24 hour period.

Not clean

Hotel is very clean and comfortable, breakfast was very fresh.
Some staff members were very rude, unpleasant, unhelpful and not accommodating. I don’t think I would stay in this hotel again for this reason. 

Rude staff

Stayed one night for a family do, very basic and wasn’t keen on the extra single bed in the room made the room rather small , the air conditioning unit was noisy also it all seemed like it needed upgrading as didn’t seem clean and fresh but basic and cheap for one night will stay at Travelodge opposite next time as that’s where I’ve stayed previously it’s much better.
