Staff really helpful and friendly travel lodge clean and tidy and close to all amenities and main exits north and south would stay there again happily 

A good stay

Always stay at Taunton Travelodge on the way to Cornwall. Probably 6 times a year and never disappointed.     Very clean .  There is a selection of shops on the trading estate plus MacDonalds, Starbucks, Costa,Kentucky Chicken  and a very nice pub.

A restful night in a nice room.

We very much enjoyed a three-night stay here and had a very spacious, clean and comfortable room. A good spot for us and our dog! The staff were friendly and helpful and there is plenty of parking and amenities nearby, including a pub offering good food. There is a nice park within walking distance (a nice long walk) and plenty of shopping and some green space nearby.

Great value getaway.

Just enjoyed a very pleasant 3 night mid week stay at this Travelodge in Taunton..   I’m fairly regular as have family nearby..  The rooms are quiet,  roomy, and very clean..  And the bed is large and very comfortable.  The staff are helpful and very friendly..   Very good value for money.. Thank You

Quiet pleasant stay with friendly, helpful Staff

Hotel receptionist was polite and  welcoming. Our room was clean and tidy and was excellent value for money. Good television with tea and coffee provided in the room. Had a good nights sleep. Car parking ok. The hotel is close to the M5 motorway and easy to find.

Good choice

Very friendly receptionist greeted us; and was helpful by providing lists of nearby restaurants rather than the fast-food places adjacent.
The room was good, as usual.
Note there is no lift; so best to request a ground floor room if that is an issue.


Excellent service and assistance from reception staff

guests tend to smoke and talk outside by the front door so if you are in any rooms at the front near the door this make impact on your stay. in our case a young couple had a loud chat at 03:15 hrs on the Sat morning. plus smoke came in our window.

We were made very welcome on arrival and allocated a room on the ground floor which made things so easy. Great to have already have a fan turned on in the room to cool it down. Plenty of parking and great to have a Sainsbury's so close which enabled us to top up on what I thought was the cheapest price in the area and quite late at night too. 

The room was spotlessly clean with lovely fresh bedding with very comfy beds and pillows. We both slept well and were refeshed the next morning ready for the 2nd leg of our 6 hour journey to Cornwall. Great location for the motorway and places to eat. We would definately return again as great value for money too.

From start to finish of very short stay, including booking arrangements for an accessible room all went smoothly.  The room was just as you would want and slept well and breakfast box ideal way to start the day.

Very clean staff went above and beyond very friendly manger Jo was amazing friendly and was allways having a laugh was made to feel very welcome .every member of staff was amazing from morning to night staffed 24/7
