Mother and daughter friendly very clean great when you have children nothing is much trouble don’t hesitate too book very clean and the mother and daughter duo are very protective of there customers but also very relaxed as well if in doubt I would say book cheap good breakfast friendly  we say book

Great experience

difficulty in accessing apartment, and contacting help to get in,, when in apartment it was far away from being "luxurious", doors sticking, sockets not working, only a trickle of water from the kitchenette tap, shower was not clean and to be honest the bedding wasnt fresh ,it smelled foisty., blinds were broken , and looking out of window, old furniture and other rubbish was strewn in garden, all in all one of the worst places I have ever stayed, in fact If I had had more time I would have gone elsewhere.

On arrival we couldn’t get in the main door.  Had to ring the number advertised in the doorway which turned out to be incorrect, however, I was given an other number to ring. I was then told contact would be via WhatsApp. 
A property manager came to our assistance and was let in. We then could get into the room they had reserved for us as the keypad which should have had the key in didn’t work. 
We were then shown another room, as soon as the door opened I saw stains all over the wall and kitchen cabinet. When in the room the bed frame was all stained along with the carpet. 
The blinds were all broken and there was a smell of something.

Avoid this place! This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stopped in, the place is filthy, outdated and dangerous. 

The smell of the place is something else, especially because everyone smokes inside. The walls are yellow from the smoke. Some people had even written on the walls about how bad it was (including swearing) but instead of painting over the writing they covered it with a painting.

There are dirty old mattresses everywhere, along with a load of other junk just left around the place. We didn’t have a TV remote and so we raised it with the hotel who promised one would be sent over but that never happened. The worst part is the live electrics on show. And for some strange reason the taps are on the wrong  way round. The oven was filthy, the blinds were broken, the bathroom floor felt like it was about to go through at anytime, a massive gap at the bottom of the front door for anyone to look through, the list is never ending. 

Hopefully the photos will give an idea of the state of the place. Please don’t waste your money staying here.

Please Avoid!

Well how on earth do I describe this place? It was booked for 2 adults & 2 children for a 1 night stay.
Just a weekend getaway with the kids.
I’m not a particularly fussy person I’m easy going but expect a basic level of standards.
This place is like a crack den!
Not that I’ve ever been in a crack den but I’m pretty sure I was in one today.

We were told by email confirmation room would ready at 2pm. 
We got too the so called delux apartment at 4pm (rang bell several times no answer)
Rang contact number on the door several times no answer.
Rang contact number on paperwork no answer!
Stood around the door for half an hour not really knowing what to do.

An estate agent turns up with some potential buyers to show them around, so now there was 7 of us stood there not knowing what to do.
Eventually a very scruffy man opens the door half asleep & leaves the others to there viewing & shows us to the room. 
Well let me say there was absolutely Nothing delux about it.
The room stunk rotten of dirty nappy’s, the bins were full, the sofa was ready for the local tip, there was dead flys on every surface, the bed had sand in it, the bed wasn’t even properly made.
It was an absolute doss hole of a place.
Needless to say we left immediately.
The entrance was a duping ground.
I would rather of slept in my car but instead drove 2 hrs home.

Absolutely revolting

This has to be the worst place I have ever stayed. If you need a low budget place to stay £95 a night? And don’t care about cleanliness then it’s okay. The hotel is not looked after and no English speaking staff. I would have rather slept on beach.

Worst place I have ever stayed

I booked lyndene hotel skegness on expedia  when I arrived  at the hotel & walked into the room I found ot used as a storage  Room  not livable  even for a animal  it was discussing  dirty with beds standing on end  extra mattresses  painting materials  bedding all thrown in the room I contacted  expedia  & they emailed  the hotel. They was told by the hotel manager  they they will not give me a refund I really hope that get what coming to them as I'm taking this matter further.

Cancelled our yearly family holiday 2 weeks before we were due to go! No explanation at all.
Ultimately leaving us to find elsewhere to find alternative last minute accommodation, which most will know it's almost impossible to do.

In previous years it was a nice place to stay as a family.. Owners were always helpful and on hand in emergencies etc but it seems to be going abit downhill now.
I personally won't be booking here again due to the stress of it being cancelled so close to our booked dates. 

Wouldn't recommend anymore.

This place needs shutting down as it's a health & safety concern.

We travelled as a family of 4, with 2 young children aged 4 & 2. Stepped into the place and it stunk of damp. We inspected the room and it was absolutely horrific. Normally I'm one happy to rough it for a couple of nights (Christ I've been on a budget stag do here and there) so normally the cosmetic stuff is never a problem.

Here's the long list of stuff we had issues with:

Electricity was not working in the apartment 
Electric fuse boxes on display with no cover 
Broken bed 
Broken wooden stool in the bedroom 
Rusty hand saw in the garden area 
Broken kitchen tile also covered in sugar
Broken patio chairs 
Water leaking from the fridge due to the freezer defrosting as a result of no electricity 
Damp in the wardrobe 
Water on the bathroom floor
Dirty mirror 
Dirty floor 
Dirty walls 
Cobwebs and spiders in most room corners 
Unkept lawn/garden 
Unpleasant smell 

We contacted the property owner straight away. Someone came within 20 minutes which was quick, inspected the property and said we couldn't stay there, so advised to contact booking.com for a full refund. This was about 6:50pm and usually our children are in bed for 7:30-8pm. So we made the journey back home.

The next day I called the property owner and they offered me a laughable 10% discount even though I didn't stay there, and was advised not to by their representative. I battled on for a few days and the most they offered was 30% and failed to take into account the property had no electricity. How was I meant to heat my baby's milk in the microwave? How was I meant to keep the baby's milk cold in the fridge? The fuse box was at ground level and was missing all the covers - a little dangerous for children to be around? The bed was that broken that the end of it sunk into the frame - where was 1 of us meant to sleep?

Anyway we contacted booking.com and as I stupidly paid via an email link from the property owner instead of inside booking.com, they were unable to assist.

I ended up being refunded via a chargeback with my bank, which was in review for 6 months, hence only just being able to post so as to not antagonise the situation.

Please take my review on board, I'm being very reasonable with my expectations for £90 per night, and that expectation is that the property is safe with working electricity. Don't book here, save your money or book elsewhere.

No electricity, broken bed, leaking fridge. Told by owner not to stay, then refused to refund me! Needs H&S assessment

4 apartments booked in early November for New Years Eve, paid for the week before Christmas, then cancelled at the last minute by them, 1115 to be exact, when check in was supposed to be 1500. Leaving 13 people with nowhere to stay. Absolutely terrible. AVOID!! AVOID!! AVOID!!
