Room was spotless , food excellent .
Drinks a little pricy .
Everyone helpful and polite . 
Lots going on .
Cafe up the road sells great cakes 🍰 
The gardens look amazing jiweecer we couldn’t look as the weather was bad . We would go again

Wortley Hall Visit March 2024

Well done to everyone at The Wortley Hotel for making our works Christmas Party a really excellent night.

There was a great atmosphere in a full house and the hotel coped very well. There were plenty of staff on which is always a good thing with so many people at the bar at one time, you didn't have to wait long to get served. This carried on through the night when serving food for the 3 course meal which was also very nice.

Scrap Yard dogs entertained us on stage and they were superb as always, what a great group, had the dance floor full all night. The hotel host got everyone in the party  mood with a couple of quick games to entertain us all and the disco kept us up there dancing after the band had finished. 

Well done team Wortley, thank you for a wonderful night.

Works Christmas Party

My daughter had her wedding there couldn't have had a better time it was perfect in allways the staff are lovely and couldn't help enough a special thankyou to Lorraine would recommend to anyone getting married

Down in Scunthorpe for a family funeral. 

This hotel was recommended to us. It was central for everything, so very handy.

Rooms were a decent size, nice and clean. Staff were excellent and really helpful. Breakaways great. Bar was nice and ideal for watching the football at night.

No complaints.

Hidden gem! Lovely staff, food and room, very comfortable. Will definitely return. Good price, no issues at all. Staff always available.
I missed breakfast one morning so they made me a pack up. Food really hot and fresh

Lovely staff they were very accommodating booked this hotel very last minute due to hoseasons double booking 3 lodges we had paid for the hotel is very clean the rooms were very comfortable and had everything you needed had a really good nights sleep in the very comfy bed and a very nice breakfast the next morning again staff were very accommodating nothing was too much trouble for them lovely bar area to enjoy a few drinks in I would stay here again thank you team Wortley

Excellent

We had a very short notice booking needing a disabled access room for two adults and two dogs and not only that, gluten free meals *and* access for oxygen to be delivered.

The Wortley House staff were able to accommodate all our needs and went above and beyond at every turn, they were so amazingly kind and helpful. They made us feel at home and welcome, I cannot recommend them enough. 

The rooms were clean and comfortable as well and we'll equipped.

I will definitely go back if ever needing somewhere to stay in the area again.

Fantastic and Beyond Helpful

Stayed here for one night whilst visiting the area.  Room was clean and comfortable.
Good menu choices for breakfast.  Staff were very friendly and helpful.  Welcoming reception.  There is a bar area at the front if you require a drink.

Pleasant stay

Stayed here whilst working in Scunthorpe. There was a mix up with our rooms but the staff we’re brilliant. Really friendly and incredibly helpful in sorting out rooms for us. The rooms are ok. A little tired but the bed was very comfy and the shower was great. The staff here deserve the 5 star rating.

Will definitely stay again
Slightly dated decor was more than offset by cleanliness and really friendly staff
Not to mention the excellent breakfast with a great selection of fresh fruit suited the girls (and also full english for me)
