We have just returned from a 7 night stay at Ednovean Farm. Christine & Charles were excellent hosts & so very friendly & helpful to us while we were there. They gave us lots of local information & tips which helped us find our way around the area very easily.  We stayed in the Apricot room which was really comfortable & well furnished. Breakfasts were great with lots of choice. Good pubs, places to eat and a beach within walking distance. The farm is perfectly situated & within reach of many interesting places to visit. Highly recommended & we have booked for nest year already! Great to meet Spud & Sammy the cats too!

A fantastic place to stay! 

We spent 5 nights at Ednovean Farm in the Blue room. 

The only “downer” for us was that we have only just found out about this hidden gem, all those years of us visiting Cornwall without knowing it was there, hey-ho such is life!

There are no negatives; I’ve tried to find them but its perfect and a tribute to all the effort over many years by Charles and Christine.

I won’t repeat the many positive and detailed comments of previous visitors; simply fully endorse their accuracy and content.

The huge garden is fabulous and has matured magnificently over the many years Charles and Christine have been cultivating it.

I repeat, no negatives, stay there, you will not in any way be disappointed.

Thank you Charles and Christine for everything you do, you are the benchmark other similar businesses should aspire to.  


Perfect Cornish location,hosts and accomodation !

We were hoping  to go here last year but last minute  illness forced us to cancel. Fortunately  we made it this year. It was such a gem, we had the blue room, with its pretty terrace with sea view over the  fields and our own breakfast room with comfy sofa if you wanted  to relax. Breakfast was varied and perfectly cooked, duties shared by the delightful  owners, Christine  and Charles, who were extremely  helpful  in recommending local places to eat and visit. Tucked away along a rather bumpy  lane, with  rabbits scurrying  around and beyond the farm. There are also 4 horses and a cat, so lots of animals to see! Thank you, Christine and  Charles, we will be back.


Peaceful  Hideaway 

We stayed at Ednovean Farm as part of our honeymoon. We could not have had a better and more enjoyable stay. 

Our room (the blue room) had its own private terrace with incredible views overlooking the garden and mount bay (sea views) including st Michaels Mount. The room has been carefully put together with some antique furniture and more contemporary touches and a very comfy bed. There is handy fridge for drinks. All in all a total haven of peace and tranquility! 

It’s clear that Christine and Charles take such care and pride in the garden as it really is very special and a lovely place to enjoy and relax in.  With the sunny weather we had and the beautiful slightly tropical gardens, it felt like we were in the Med not west Cornwall! 

The breakfast was such a treat with options for all tastes and excellent coffee (served piping hot). Christine and Charles are the perfect hosts- available and able to provide recommendations on the local area, but also unintrusive and let you just get on with having a lovely holiday. 

The village of Perranuthnoe is a hidden gem. We stayed at a peak time and it never felt crowded or particularly touristy. We had lovely meals at the peppercorn cafe, the cabin and the Victoria inn. The beach (no more than 15 mins walk) is beautifully sandy with clear turquoise water safe swimming and  is lifeguarded. Again peak season and plenty of space for all. St Ives is under 30 mins away and the pretty coastal villages of Marazion, Porthleven and Mousehole are all within 20 mins drive. 

The perfect place for our honeymoon. I can’t recommend a stay at Ednovean Farm enough!

What a place!

Charles and Christine have adapted well to ensure a Covid-safe service. They've reduced from 3 rooms to 2, given the apricot room a separate access, and changed the breakfast routine. Breakfast is still luxurious. This time we booked the blue room. You can sit up in bed and see the sea. A new shower, a new bed and a nice quiet fridge all add to the comfort and enjoyment, but the view from the room and from the private courtyard in front of the room is what  really makes it stand out. The location, the Italianate garden, the lovely old Cornish stone buildings, the high standards - all make for a lovely break.

So good we've already booked again for 2021

We spent 5 nights at Ednovean Farm, staying in the characterful Pink Room. It’s a great base for exploring this stunning area - we didn’t need to use the car all week, which made for a really relaxing break (Perranuthnoe beach is within a 10 minute walk with easy access to the coastal path). We were made to feel very welcome and enjoyed our cosy room - after days out and about it was so nice to come back for a long soak in the bath and a glass of sherry before bed on a couple of occasions! Breakfast was lovely and we enjoyed chatting to some of the other guests in the morning, picking up tips on where to visit . Charles and Christine know some great places and obviously love the house and area. A bonus for us was the welcome from the resident cats Spud and Louis too. Thanks for a great stay!

Cornish break

We have been coming for the past 24 years and we hope to stay more times at this excellent B&B in its beautiful setting..
Christine and Charles always give us a warm welcome with afternoon tea and coffee. Great! 

Our lovely stay at Ednovean Farm

Six of us arrived at Ednovean Farm on Friday 7th June and stayed for three nights although we would have loved to extend our time there!
Christine and Charles are excellent hosts and made us all feel very welcome and completely at home, you can come and go as you please.
Our group occupied all three of the guest rooms and each couple were delighted with their room. Each room is individually decorated and all are very quirky and very clean.
The tea and cake on arrival was most welcome as was the sherry provided, great touch that!
Towels changed every day which was unexpected but very nice.
The gardens are incredible, we all sat out for hours on Sunday afternoon, it was pure bliss.
Breakfast is a great occasion with a magnificently presented table and excellent food, it was a communal occasion as we all sat together and watched Christine and Charles cook our breakfast whilst having a good chat!
We really can't fault Ednovean Farm or our hosts, it was truly a lovely place to be.
We shall return!!!

What a happy bunch we were!

Upon arrival we were greeted by Christine and Charles who were very friendly welcoming.  Christine showed us to the Pink Room which was beautiful and asked if we would like to have coffee in the gardens.  I had emailed ahead letting them know I was vegan and so when she brought our drinks she presented me with soy milk.    

The house and grounds are absolutely beautiful and very peaceful.  Our room was also beautiful and spotlessly clean.  The bathroom was huge!  There were nice touches such as toiletries, robes and slippers, and a table set up with water and tea/coffee making facilities.  They also have a DVD room where you could help yourself to a movie to watch.

You order your breakfast the evening before and there was a lot of choice.  In the morning you are sat with the other guests whilst Christine and Charles prepare breakfast, which made it that bit more personal.  We stayed for two nights but had to head back early on our last day and they offered to prepare us breakfast to take with us which was very nice of them.

Christine gave us some great tips and advice on things to do and see.  You can see she is really passionate about the place and her animals, which we enjoyed hearing all about - if you go make sure you bring Dolly the horse some polo's :) 

All in all I cannot fault this place at all.  If you want peace and quiet in an idyllic setting then this is the place for you!

Stunning!

We were looking for a home base for exploring southern Cornwall. We could not believe our luck in finding this Inn. First, it is in an ideal location for exploring Land’s End, Lizard, or St. Ives. But, we didn’t want to leave each day. The spot is stunning. The gardens were an endless discovery of intimate spaces and wide expanses of beautiful views. We stayed in the Apricot room. So cozy and comfortable. From the footed tub, to the soft robes, to the in-room tea service, we wanted for nothing. The only thing inspiring us to leave the room each morning was coming into the warm kitchen filled with the smells of fresh coffee and bacon cooking. Charles and Christine are perfect hosts and it was a real pleasure to chat with them. For me, this is everything a B&B should be for guests. I can’t recommend highly enough.
