Lovely B and B. Decorated really nicely and very clean. Bed was really comfy and the room was spacious with a good shower. Breakfast was very generous and tasty and the Owners were really friendly and helpful. Will be coming back again for certain!

Sweet dated little b&b. Had a very welcoming gentleman greet us , he was informative and friendly. Stayed here for 1 night for a wedding. Parked car in the victoria car park for 24 hours  for £8. Booked 2 rooms for a saturday night ,was very reasonable. The rooms were clean and light. One larger than the other both on suite. Both beds comfortable , showers good,hot water and clean.Breakfast was plentiful, everything clean, plenty of choice. Tea coffee and biscits in the room. Didnt try the telly  ,as far too much around you to do.Friendly service, refills offered. Yes this place is dated and not had the best decorators, but the perfect place to put your head down. Location was perfect.

Cheap cosy b&b

We visited and though the area was nice enough, location is great for other amenities. Which really you’ll need due to the poor state in which the business is kept. The owners are nice enough however when a problem occurs it is very apparent they take criticism personally and not professionally. Our room was very dirty, the fan is covered in layers upon layers of dust. It’s a 5 minute job to clean and makes all the difference, the ceilings were in poor repair and I can see very visible cobwebs. Owning a business similar that employs cleaners, I have checked rooms and dining areas regularly and know where to look. 

It’s too late to check for hairs in my bed and didn’t think about it as I was so tired but with other reviewers mentioning it, I wonder.

Breakfast was alright, sausages not so impactful, however the fried bread was lovey. 

I do wonder about the state of their kitchen though.

A bit of an opinion now, but perhaps it’s worth taking on board. When you paint rooms, use masking tape so you can get clean lines, it makes a difference. When cleaning; hit the corners of the room, fans and extraction. Hoover obviously, even if the room looks clean, you clean it again. If you paint over paint it shows, take the time to sand down obviously poor areas. I understand this is them, but these kinds of businesses give you a fair amount of time so make the most out of it. Don’t be lazy!

Cheap, not cheerful.

Review given to Booking.com but not shared! Very dirty toilet (pee stains on the seat) and dirty shower (pubic hair & grime)!  No bin in room, No WIFI (even though stated) and poor breakfast. If I said anaglypta and tile on a role - enough said!!!

Uninterested owners , barely a welcome. Room 8 family room, what a joke. Hairs in the beds, dirty worktops with sugar spilled in a drawer which sounds like its been there at least 3 weeks according to a previous review. Wallpaper hanging off ceilings and walls , clogged up fans, dirty , sticky en-suite that you couldn't open the door properly to get into and banged your head on the towel rail if you could actually get in. Toilet seat falling off and sticky. Bin sticky. Hairs in the shower. Dusty/dirty kettle , cups, mirror. Carpet falling apart and not hoovered. Floor in desperate need of repair. The owner said he had cleaned the room himself and what did I expect for a 3 star place ! rude ! I said well clean at least . They asked to check room (greeted with 'what do you want?' ) which I said they could after we had all gone out for tea but they had left the building for the evening and said they would see us in the morning! Did not dare stay for breakfast as could not bare to look at them and was so off put by the dirty room did not know what to expect for breakfast. Worst b & b we have ever stayed in . 
I have emailed them to ask for a refund with a rude response. I will be emailing environmental health next. Hope they enjoyed spending our hard earned £99.
