A lovely ran b&b,warm and friendly family ran guest house lovely Scottish breakfast had my wedding reception here nearly forty years ago will always remember it,for the outstanding reception we had,have been back two or three times since while visiting family in the area.

GREAT B&B

We had a fantastic weekend stay at Gowanbank House while in the area for a friend's wedding. The house and grounds are beautiful and the bedroom was bright and comfortable. Isabel and Willy made us feel at home and provided a delicious breakfast and home-made afternoon cakes.

We were visiting family in the town and was given accommodation at the Gowanbank.
The moment you pull up the drive, you know this place is special - very special.
When you meet Isabella and Willie, you meet a very warm and friendly couple, that make your stay easy.

Our room, had everything - enormous bedroom, tastefully decorated and furnished with a view that can only be described as having the "Wow factor"

By far the best hotel of the four we stayed at over our holiday.

Great Stay

A lovely ran guest house by the very pleasant owners who go out their way to create a warm and friendly atmosphere throughout your stay. A lovely building with great rooms and grounds. I could not fault it. Rooms are bright and airy with everything catered for. A nice little twist are the fresh cakes on arrival. Food great too. Will stay again on our return.
Situated within a short drive of the coastal towns.

Great B & B

What a lovely place. 
Isobel and Wally provided a really warm welcome, literally. The beautiful inglenook fireplace was lit on a really cold August evening. We didn't arrive until 9pm which wasn't a problem for them and the lamps were lit in our room and the curtains drawn. All of which was lovely after a really long drive. The room was massive and really comfortable. Much nicer than some 4 star hotels I have stayed in. 
We requested an early breakfast as we had an early ferry to catch, again no problem. 
Beautiful old house. We will definitely be back.
