As a B&B firstly, there was no breakfast! Stayed for two agonising nights. Had a family room which was basic. Paid £75 a night for two adults and 1 child.  It was cold and another guest had to ask for the heating to be put on.  It’s not clean and cobwebs everywhere.  Only got towels for one night.  Didn’t bother asking for any more as the small bathroom that 5 rooms had to share is shabby and the shower is useless.  No telly controller until was found in another room.  The owners basically just want the money with no dealings with the guests staying there.  I feel really angry that I had to fork out that money as it’s one of the most basic places I have stayed in.  Ok, it was £25 a person per night but you expect breakfast if it states B&B and for the owners to actually make you feel a tiny bit like they care!  I do know however that the meals there are good on a positive note, but as we actually stayed there this is my review for the accommodation.  Other guests that stayed were also appalled 😧.  If you run a business then you should be professional and show at least a little interest in your guests.  God knows how they have got good reviews from other guests who have stayed there in the past.  I feel that we are fair people but this accommodation does not deserve more than one rating if you are a staying guest.  Will definately not be stopping there again.

Terrible!

A group of 10 of us went in about 9pm on Friday night, happy to serve us from normal menu or late night menu. All of us enjoyed our meals good size portions too. We then moved into the bar area where some of our group played pool or joined in on karaoke. Everyone was really friendly owners & locals we were made to feel very welcome. Would defiantly recommend. 

Food & drinks 

What a transformation. This has to be the best place to eat at, especially Sunday Roast. They always have a choice of Meat with a fantastic compliment of seasonal vegetables.
Catering for all appetites, you may chose from kiddies size to large.
The front of house staff are not only friendly but very efficient along with the Bar team.
You must try it, you'll not be disappointed.

Sunday Lunch

stayed for a wedding found this nice place to stop for a couple of days.  nice pints, lovely food and great atmosphere especially when the karaoke is on :). room was fine. staff were great. would definitely stay there again.
