ibis London Heathrow Airport

We chose this hotel to stay in the night before my daughter's flight. The first time in this hotel but chose it because we've always had comfortable stays in other Ibis hotels in London. It didn't disappoint, on arriving the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly and happily answered queries. The hotel overall seemed 'older' and more 'dated' than we've stayed in before and was a bit dark and dingy in the corridors however it was extremely clean and comfortable. We ate in the evening and the food was amazing with generous portions at reasonable prices. Again the staff were so friendly and helpful and offered a free drink as we were struggling to order our food online. One slight criticism, there were 3 of us so 3 free drinks would have been nice but we gladly accepted one and appreciated the gesture. The breakfast was delicious with a varied selection of choices to suit everyone and was buffet style so unlimited. This hotel was a great price, around £170 for 2 rooms for 1 night which included breakfast and was in a great location close to Heathrow terminal 3 (we enjoyed watching the planes landing literally across the road whilst in the dining area) with convenient regular shuttle buses. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend.
