Beautiful house, beautiful views and location. Lovely warm welcoming house, great size reception room to relax in at night and the bedrooms are just as comfortable with everything you need. Raquel is a great host and can’t do enough for you, with excellent knowledge of the area. Will definitely be coming back for a stay.

Beautiful B&B

This has been the best bed and breakfast I have ever stayed in! Gerry and Mair make the most fantastic hosts, so warm and welcoming... even though we arrived after 9pm that did not matter to them! Gerry has amazing knowledge of the whole area surrounding Llanfairfechan and guided us to several different places to visit including places to eat and drink! It never seemed a problem to him in helping us out with were to go and what routes to take, he was extremely helpful! Every morning we had the most beautiful breakfast made for us by Mair and there was plenty to chose from and more than enough gorgeous food, we are definitely going to miss these breakfasts! The grove is a lovely, warm, cosy home situated perfectly and our room was lovely and very comfortable for us! We are hoping to come back and visit again in the future! Thank you Gerry and Mair for having us!

The most amazing stay!

I have had the pleasure to stay with Mair and Gerry at The Grove a number of times now. They are such warm and welcoming hosts and strive to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The Grove is a beautiful B&B situated on the edge of Snowdonia, really handy for anyone like me setting off on a solo trek across the national park. I have stayed in two of the rooms previously and they are both  lovingly furnished and well appointed. I always rise early to start my hike and Mair and Gerry are more than willing to prepare a hearty breakfast no matter the time. Frankly, it impossible to rate the warmth and hospitality you will receive. Five stars simply does not do The Grove, or Gerry and Mair, justice. Go yourself and experience the best welcome in North Wales.

Wonderful hosts in a beautiful setting

A great base for north Wales coast/Anglesey/ Snowdonia.

Mair and Gerry work hard to make one's stay as enjoyable and fulfilling as possible.

From a snack on arrival to the décor of the bedrooms, they have thought carefully about the provision for visitors.

Comfortable beds and delicious breakfast.

Gerry was most helpful in making suggestions on places to visit and local eateries.

Sadly we were only there for two nights (this time anyway)!

Hospitable hosts

Just got back home today (Friday 24th August 2018) and we are missing Mair and Gerry already! They have a truly beautiful home in Llanfairfechan (hope I spelt it correctly). Anyhow, the house is beautiful, our hosts Gerry and Mair were exceptional and nothing too much trouble, the breakfast was amazing every single day, our room was beautiful and the bed oh so comfortable. The location was outstanding too with a bus stop just fifty yards from their front door- public transport to Llandudno, Bangor and Beaumaris. 
Gerry is a walking Tourist Information Centre with not only a wealth of knowledge of the history of wales but also a living, walking, talking guide book of “things to do in North Wales. Just a five minute walk and you have a village pub that does the largest, most tastiest roast meals you have ever had!
We spent four nights at Gerry and Mairs beautiful home and left feeling totally rejuvenated.....and a little sad BUT we will be back!

Outstanding, Exceptional Holiday In Every Way Possible 10/10

Perfect in every way, Mair@Gerry  perfect hosts made us very welcome after Gerry knew we were arriving by train he met us at the station ,whilst Miar had the kettle on @ her home made welsh cakes . we were delighted with our room clean comfortable pretty and cosy .Breakfasts were tasty local foods freshly purchased and cooked ,good choices and nothing to much trouble ,it was also a very nice social time with Gerry and Mair sharing their amazing local knowledge,with the extra plus of looking out on the lovely garden with birds at their feeders.The bus services were good and stopped just out side the door which was great for us none drivers . we are so very pleased we found The Grove , Miar and Gerry`s with their help and kindness ,genuine desire to help us enjoy our hols in North Wales .We were sad to say bye bye when Gerry took us back to the station .Thank you BOTH
