What a lovely guest house! Very comfortable rooms with everything you need. Malcom is an excellent host & nothing is too much trouble. He cooks an excellent breakfast & has lots of options to choose from. The guest house is located next to a main road but you really don’t hear it from the bedrooms. We really enjoyed our stay & would definitely return if we were in the area again. Thank you Malcolm!

Lovely guest house with fabulous host!

This stay at Coppers End, was even better than the previous stay. Do not know if it is because we stayed an extra day or not. Cannot fault Malcolm on his breakfasts as they are fantastic and so filling. Even remembered our choice of toast! Re-decoration throughout and the beds are very comfortable. The nearness of the main road does not make it noisy in the least. The rear garden is lovely to spend time in especially in the warm weather, just to reflect on the day's agenda. Thank you again Malcolm and Mary, will be seeing you again soon

Four day stay

Malcolm made us most welcome and the prices were very competitive. I have some mobility issues but we were offered a ground floor room with it's own access, independent of the rest of the guest house, which was great. A converted garage I imagine but with a lovely en suite bathroom toilet with grab rails.
Good wifi, despite an apology that it was a bit temperamental - it wasn't while we were there. My wife wanted to visit a friend one morning so I sat in the guest lounge and read. I would have sat in the lovely garden but it was a bit showery that morning.
The full English Breakfast was great, plenty of it so, not being big eaters, it set us up for the day, just needing a snack lunch and a nice dinner in one of the many local eateries. I was worried about traffic noise but it really wasn't an issue, we slept like logs. There is much less at night and we were just far enough away from the main dual carriageways for it to be negligible. Excellent parking, Lovely dining room in a conservatory overlooking their extensive lawn. Malcolm has been doing this for over 30 years now and, with all of that experience, he has learnt what his customers want and just that longevity is a recommendation in itself.
It's not a big hotel, it's a little friendly guest house - and often that's just what you need

Friendly and comfortaqble

This was my first visit to Copper's End, Won't be my last though, My parents have stopped here a few times when they have been to The National Memorial Arboretum so when I went to see it I also stopped here.
Breakfast sets you up for the day, Great food well cooked.

Right Grand Spot

Cannot fault the Coppers End, stayed for 3 nights and looked forward to the breakfast every morning,  Malcolm and Mary were fantastic hosts, and we are looking forward to our trips down to visit our son who lives in the local area, to come and stay with you again.

After lockdown

We had a fantastic weekend. The accommodation was excellent. We had a lovely clean room which over looked a beautiful garden. We both had a fantastic nights sleep!! Although it was a shared bathroom we had it all to ourselves. The breakfast was lovely. The owner was really friendly and helpful. We enjoyed sitting in the large garden. Would highly recommend this as a place to stay!

I stayed here with a friend recently and we had a lovely stay.

Malcolm is so welcoming and accommodating, he makes sure you have everything you need. In particular he made sure we both had delicious vegetarian/vegan breakfasts and he was flexible with check in time.

The place itself is very charming, with a really pretty garden. Malcolm told us it used to be a police station. The room we stayed in was lovely with a really nice modern bathroom. The beds were very comfortable and it had everything we needed.

There is plenty of free parking and the location is very good, you can easily get to Lichfield from there.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend staying here and I am going to come back in the future.

Lovely stay

A lovely atmosphere from start to finish. We could not have been better catered for! We even got a free upgrade and Malcom went out of his way to get some more black pudding as it was my boyfriend’s favourite! Couldn’t fault the stay at all. Highly recommend. 

Overnight stay

Hearty breakfast cooked by Malcolm and Mary. Quiet garden to relax in with the owl. Beds so comfortable you could stay in it all day. Would have liked to see a bit more of the history of the old police station retained in rooms adding something special.

A great place to relax

Stayed here for one night with the wife , as we were going to a local wedding reception, and save driving back home decided to stay local ,,, 
And this was the perfect place , great welcome by the owner , showed us to our room , very spacious, en suite with bath and shower ,,,, very clean threw out ,, 
Great nights sleep , and down in the morning for a lovely cooked breakfast,,, 👌

If I’m ever over this way again , definitely will be stopping here again .
