Absolutely lovely chap. We stayed for the Radio 2 event at the weekend. He drove us too and from the event. He added to our amazing weekend. I would definitely recommend his B & B. Super breakfast 😋 

Great place to stay

Great place to stay, Steve made us feel very welcome, rooms were nice and clean with comfy beds and the breakfast was lovely.  Great pubs in the village and the Stoney cove dive centre was a 3 minute walk, we had a nice meal here looking out over the cove.   Would highly recommend,  thanks Steve for an enjoyable stay over.

Overnight stop over

Used Steves Place whilst attending Mallory Park Race Circuit. Nice clean comfortable room, our breakfast was very early & was not a problem & very nice with good range of food. The house is situated in a quiet development in a nice village.

Good honest value & service.

Had a one night stay to attend a friend's wedding in the local area, Steve was very accommodating and even gave me a lift to the wedding venue. Room was lovely, clean and quite spacious. Good shower room, would definitely stay again.

Very welcoming, comfortable and helpful.

I stayed at Steve's place with my partner for 1 night in July. He was very welcoming. I was diving at the Cove, and he was great in recommending that I took the car down at 7am (2 minute drive, he is adjacent to the top car park) to get a good parking spot and then walked back for breakfast (5 minute walk if that). Breakfast was sausage, egg, hash brown, bacon, tomato and beans. Plus a selection of toast, cereal, fruit if you wanted it. 

I had a twin toom upstairs with en-suite, the shower was amazing after a dive, and there was plenty of shampoo and shower gel to use if you hadn't brought your own. 

The room also had a TV (didn't use) and a kettle. 

We met up with friends in the evening for a curry, and Steve helpfully gave directions and told us what time we needed leave. 

This is a friendly B&B with a homely feel. It is not white washed towels and starched linen, more like colourful homely towels and patterned bedding, and personally I think that is great!

Relaxed stay at Steve's Place - Stoney Cove Weekend

Stayed at Steve,s place for 2 nights as my grandson racing at Mallory park Steve was a great host nothing was to much breakfast was served at what time I requested Steve was very friendly & advised my where to eat at night will return again many thanks les

About as close as you can get to Stoney Cove about a 30 second drive. Room was a clean, 2 single beds with tea /coffee making, ensuite toilet/shower. English breakfast in morning. Car park at front of house, we dried our dive equipment in rear garden. Helpful, friendly owner. £60 for one night.
Ideal for Stoney

Ideal for Stoney Cove

Stayed one night in an ensuite twin room. Very clean and comfortable, great shower. Tea and coffee in room ,TV and good wireless internet. Owner is friendly and helpful. Breakfast was full English and very good. Nothing even remotely bad to say about the place. A short walk to pubs and shops and The Bulls Head did superb food at very reasonable prices. I've already booked my next stop here, when back on business next week.

Great little B&B

Steve was very welcoming we were going to a a do at  at stanton lakes we left car there sat eve & Steve drove us back sun morn to collect it after a good breakfast very nice place to stay very relaxed place

very comfortable place to stay

We stayed here as it was local for a family function. Steve was friendly and welcoming and made us coffee on arrival. He told us all about the local area and suggested a local pub for our evening meal. It was a great suggestion! Next morning we awoke to coffee and breakfast on the table ready for our early departure. He couldn't do enough for us and was the perfect host.
