I stayed here due to location to my work that weekend, however there were multiple issues with the hotel. I did have to change the date which I did manage to do, however I wasn't notified until I arrived at the hotel that there would be additional charges. My room was not great, very dingy and dated, however I suppose it had most of the basics. There was only one plug socket in the room that I could use and was near the TV and not near anywhere that was convenient. When I was in the shower I realized that the shampoo and shower gel were empty - it was Bayliss and Harding which I love but unfortunately I did not get to try it out. The lock was a little stiff which worried me as a solo female. I was also placed in an incredibly large family room rather than the standard double i had booked. The TV also wasn't great, a few of the channels didn't work and there was no option to connect to Netflix/amazon prime etc. I won't be returning to this hotel. 

Dingy and dated

The room was very dated and the electric heater on the wall made a noise all night keeping me awake. 
On a positive breakfast was lovely and the breakfast team especially Karen was so attentive and smiling. It’s a lovely experience to watch such a nice team enjoy their job and we’re very professional. This has to be the best customer service experience I’ve witnessed in all my stays at a premier inn.

Breakfast with a warm smile

Lovely stay, parking and other facilities are fantastic. My family enjoyed the stay at the hotel.

In the future if I get a chance then will book the room with this premier inn again.

I would suggest you all to book the room at this premier inn at Leicester.

Good Stay

The hotel is a little older however the both the staff and the cleanliness was amazing! I will definitely coming back with the rest of my family next time we are in Leicester. Thank you everyone for an amazing stay! 

Amazing stay 

Great stay, older hotel but clean and great service,
Que for check in at 1.30 and we thought we were going early to avoid the ques! Reception very very helpful even waived the early checkin charge due to how busy it was, couldn’t have done anymore to help with the volume of people, for an easy out of town stay would recommend

England women’s match

Last stayed in Sept. 19, just pre Covid, it needed a refurb then, way past needing one now, stayed last Sun/Mon. What a mess, rubbish staff (except Duty Mgr.on Sun.) 5 hr nightmare car journey, nothing available in hotel, none of the the refreshment machines working either. Surly receptionist (with attitude), Room like an oven, 30°c outside, choice, really noisy fan or two part opening windows with resulting traffic noise, noise or more noise.
Such a shame. used to be a scruffy welcoming hotel, wouldn't touch it with a barge-pole now(if I'd known) 
So word of warning, yes it only cost £50 for B&B, but if it's cheap, it's cheap for a reason

What a Letdown !!!!

Unfortunately this Premeir inn isn’t up to the usual standard.
Our bedroom was below par.
It is in need of some attention in the rooms and corridors. Hole in our carpet. Paint splashes all over the place.
Breakfast and service was still good

Tried site

Stayed here for two nights over a weekend, food good and room and staff were great, bit disappointing that there wasn’t air con but they did give us a fan! Warm in the room though,clean place good location not far from the motorway, City Centre not too far also!

Weekend stay over

Most uncomfortable beds we have ever slept on! Came to stay overnight with my two children to split a long trip up and ensure they could sleep. The hotel was located in a good position to the motorway. I did look for a budget hotel and normally with a premier inn you know what to expect however this was a big let down. The family room consisted of a double bed, a single bed and a pull out bed. The double bed creaked so much every time you moved it woke you up (I’m a uk 12 so not a big lady) and the legs were barely tight, therefore the bed moved also. The single was probably the best bed but the pull out was a basic camp bed with a thin foam topper; extremely uncomfortable. Was going to dine for tea, however this was booked up. Best part of the stay was breakfast.

Awful nights sleep

I've stayed in Premier inns before and it's a brand I trust, but unfortunately I think it's one of the least pleasant stays I've had.

The room was equipped enough and the bed was comfortable as expected, but my sleep was ruined by the smoke alarm! I know smoke alarms are vital for safety and they often have a subtle blinking light to indicate it's working, but this one was like having a camera flashed in my face every 2 minutes! How do people sleep with that?!!!

Otherwise my experience was very good. The older lady who served me during check in was very helpful, so I can't fault her. So in short, it was what I expected from a premier inn, just ruined by that bloody smoke alarm!
