Good stay, with a large comfortable, spotlessly clean, homely, well equipped apartment.  Friendly staff. However, there were a couple of niggles, the TV was really small, old fashioned and not smart so no access to streaming services etc.  There was also a  surprise charge for daily electricity usage, which wasn’t mentioned during booking, and could really add up if you were staying for a few nights or more.

Comfortable stay!

Booked here for a 2 night break for my partners birthday. We booked through booking.com so didn't have to pay until arrival. We checked in at reception to be good our booking was for one night only, after some confusion we got our original booking of 2 nights. My partner paid at the desk but the receptionist was not impressed with the low amount we had got the rooms for and felt obliged to tell us we should be paying there usual rate which is much higher (almost another £80). Thankfully we paid our booking price.
Our room was on the 2nd floor, upon exiting the lift it was the smell that hit you! A mix of old carpet and old people. 
The room left a lot to be disired (see photos). 
Various stains on walls, carpet, thick black mold in Windows, missing window catches, nails on the wardrobe, broken slats on bed. My partner had to convince me stay (after a 3 hour car journey). The only bonus of our room was that we had a front view of the green (perfect for the fireworks).
Breakfast - This is the only bit that was good. The young lady serving was very well mannered and very professional. Not many options at breakfast - Grapefruit, prunes, cornflakes, muesli,bra flakes, Apple/orange juice. You have to tick a menu form for cooked items. All cooked items were lovely along with the toast and mini pots of jams etc. 
We wouldn't return here again purely because if the lack of decoration, poor cleanliness etc.
If made over this would be a lovely hotel.
Oh parking is free but wifi is non exsisent!!

Where to start...... location great, hotel needs a revamp!

The good points, good size room, view of the sea, breakfast was freshly cooked.  Bad - we had booked through booking .com for 2 nights. Afternoon of second day. We were resting in our room, when the door was unlocked and another family came in!! They had been allocated our room. Terrible.  also we were not expected for brekkie next morning. We were given it though.
As others said room tired, carpet very worn, strange discoloured patch on wall, but ok. Couldn't relax after the double booking incident, though and won't go back here.

Dont stay here!
Thought it was going to be a good stay, arrived, all the staff were extremely helpful, got to my room, had a nice shower and chilled for the evening, 
Woke up in the morning, all was well, or so i thought, until i opened the bathroom door to find a jcb bucket where my bath tub once proudly stood!
They had demolished the lot! No warning, nothing!
Will not be returning!!

This hotel looks lovely from the outside. It is dirty and dated. The chambermaid informed me that if I get allocated a room on the first floor it will stink. Yep I got the first floor. It didnt smell but its dirty. Im on my own this time and Ive been given a really small single bed. The shower has hair in it. The curtain is hanging off. The net curtain is ripped. The carpet is disgusting. There is no tv remote. Its possibly the worst place Ive stayed. For £46 I would expect a bit more than this. Cant wait to get into bed to see what surprises are in the bedding! 

Never again

The location of this hotel is amazing, the staff friendly but that is it!
I will never ever stay again.
The bedroom was dated which I expected from the price BUT the mattress was so uncomfortable you could feel every spring, there was no mattress cover and the pillow was wafer thin.
You needed to open the window due to the underlying stench of cabbage but when you did this the noise outside was dreadful.
Wish I hadn't taken the risk and stayed in the nearby travel-lodge!!
