We ordered a takeaway online  which was due to arrive at 6:15 it actually arrived at 6:45 and both main courses were extremely bland which was thoroughly disappointing.

Would not order from here again.

Disappointing

Wow what can we say. Amazing! Amazing food and staff best curry ever so nicely presented. Wouldn’t go anywhere else this is a real gem. The ambience is lovely too would give more than 5 stars if we could

Wow wow best Indian ever

Don’t be fooled by the outside appearance as it just looks like any roadside pub. It is not. We were amazed at the lush interior, probably the nicest Indian restaurant we have been in. Food excellent and reasonably priced.

Unexpected

Made a reservation following advice from a local resident. So glad we did. The food was delicious and so much attention to detail. The staff were welcoming and so helpful. Can’t wait to go back again. Also incredible value for money.
We had onion bhaji and chicken pakora to start with the nicest dipping sauce ever ( especially the coriander one ). followed by a biryani and chicken ada and egg fried rice. We were unable to eat anything else unfortunately

Nicest Indian I have had

Staying in Bourton on the water, someone had recommended the Indian food at the Coach and Horses in the visitors book. We liked it so much on our first visit we ate there again 2 nights later. Really good food, reasonably priced and the best possible service, thankyou.

2 delicious evening meals with faultless service

Ordered a takeaway at 5-10pm this Saturday for delivery. I was told it would be 1hr from 5-30pm so at 6-55pm I contacted them and they said it would be another 20minutes.it arrived at 7-30pm. I was really not happy as my nephews were very hungry and needed to eat and then go to bed. Also the order was missing 2 x nan breads and my dish that I asked to have extra chillies and really spicy was mild with no chillies. They did send a driver out with the 2 x missing nan breads when I contacted them but no apologies were given for the lateness or missing items. I'm a local resident who orders from here most weeks but I feel so let down by them as this is the 2nd time they were over 1hr late on delivery, so I will now go elsewhere in future. Its a pity as the food is always great and very delicious (except not listening to my extra request) VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

Worse customer service but great food

We booked this Based on the reviews we had read, it didn’t disappoint. The food was outstanding, all reasonably priced and served in a lovely restaurant. Wished we had booked for the following night but unfortunately we had a reservation at the Fox Inn all I can say about their food is (ding ding).

Fantastic food

We drove passed here on a visit to boughton and the water , realising the small village has more people visiting than a seaside we decided to try here for a drink and meal . OH MY GOD !!! I have been to a lot of Indians around the country and this is by far the best I’ve ever had ! The food was absolutely beautiful, fresh , tasty , very well presented and reasonably priced . My ONLY bug bare was don’t serve beautiful and pretty food on chipped plates !! Just to add I was full and asked to take the rest home which they did BUT do NOT put takeaway curry boxes on its side in the bag to leak over the back seat of my car ( lucky it’s leather) ! On a lighter note the take out after being warmed up in microwave was still better than some restaurants I’ve eaten in 

The best Indian meal I have ever had !!

We pulled off, wanting to find a light lunch, whilst working. The staff were polite and friendly throughout and assured us we could choose starters from the Indian menu. The rstaurant was very quiet but our waiter ensured that we were warm and comfortable. We chose a selection of starters, which were all excellent.
There was a range of interesting items and the main courses looked good too. Only sorry we were not in the area in the evening.

Lovely surprise at lunchtime

We called in for lunch without knowing anything about the Ali Baba restaurant in the former pub. The food was outstanding. Extensive menu with many dishes exclusive to the restaurant. Very reasonably priced, nice decor, spotlessly clean and excellent, attentive service.
