Just back from 2 night at Neatherdene with the family and dogs. Really enjoyed it, good location, nice room and surrounded by amazing views of the mountains and hills. Keswick is only 15 minutes away on the bus and the bus stop is at the end of the road. 

Dean and his family were great hosts and seamlessly arrived and disappeared at just the right times. 

Breakfast was great too with plenty of choices for all types of requirements. 

Thanks again for a lovely weekend stay and hopefully will return again this year.

Little gem of the lakes.

Lovely little place, tidy and well decorated. 
Great hosts and a fantastic breakfast. Ideally located for touring the lake district.

Cosy little pub over the road does nice food, recommend you book in advance. 

Lovely little place

Excellent value for money. Host exceptionally friendly and even made us a pot of tea on our arrival. No frills b&b with wonderful views from the breakfast room. Stayed 2 nights and will definitely book again if ever in this area

Booked here for a spontaneous trip to the lakes.... im so glad i chose this place. Firstly Dean, the owner, is a great guy and keen to help in any way he can, he also makes a wicked breakfast! He is super friendly and makes you feel at home instantly.
The hot tub isnt something to be missed either, perfect on your own or with company, made me want his set up! so cool!
Rooms are cosy, warm and just what you need after a long days hike. Breakfast is served in a beautiful light room with a beautiful view, perfect for a peaceful morning.
Location is excellent. Right next to the A66 (altho you cant hear any cars!) so you can access the lakes with ease.
Id stay here again and will recommend to friends, amazing for the price! Big big big thanks to Dean and his family for housing me for a long weekend, it was perfect!

Perfect weekend break!

Had a lovely overnight stay here. The room was quirky and clean. 
We had a fab breakfast with good quality ingredients.
The host was very attentive and lovely.
The pub opposite was great too!!
Highly recommended.

Smashing place!!

Have stayed here before and was keen to come back. Just as good second time around. Comfortable rooms, fantastic breakfast, friendly welcome. The location is ideal. There’s a bus stop nearby so you can leave your car and get the bus into Keswick or Penrith if you want. Good pub (Troutbeck Inn) directly opposite. The only downside is the local pub is not open every evening but there are plenty of other good options nearby including the Mill Inn at Mungrisdale and the Horse & Farrier at Threlkeld. 
Will definitely come back again.

Another great stay at Netherdene

2 night stay for short break . Great location for exploring Lakes. Booked easily  online from their website.. Room was a good size clean  and comfortable ensuite quite small for anyone on the larger side but adequate for us, maybe a mat to step out of shower onto would be nice . Lovely cooked breakfast and very hospitable hosts. Great food served at pub over road for other meals if you didn't want to go far. Value for money will recommend. 

Great place for exploring the Lakes

Booked to stay for one night as a surprise for my wife in April in shepherds hut , only to recive a message saying business had been sold on , normally if a business is sold bookings usually carry over , anyway after cancelling booking as requested, noticed said sherperds hut still being advertised as available on booking .com for said dates . Disappointed doesn’t come close .

An excellent dog friendly B&B. Great location for hikes around the northern Lake District. Friendly hosts who gave great recommendation for hikes (the resident chameleon totally ignored me though :) and delicious breakfast. Would definitely come back. Hopefully in drier time of the year

the host was very friendly, has a good conversation and accomodating. Excellent location and there were good views outside the room. The building itself is cosy and well maintained. This review is about the single room. A high pressure en-suite and comfy bed suitable for solo travellers. The nearest market town is around 7 miles away so this place is in a nice and quiet location. Fast broadband speeds and excellent phone signals for when you need to be connected. The only downside in my stay was the fact the boiler/heater was turned off during the night making it very cold. They should provide a small extra heater in each room as an option OR keep the heater turned on all night, expecially during winter
