Very nice and clean leisure facilities. The food was very nice, and service really good. Will stay again.

BIBUS UK visit

A lovely quiet location, the room and facilities were in good order and the staff were helpful and friendly. The absolute bomb for me was the excellent evening meal. The game pie is tremendous and the menu itswlf was varied enough to cover everyone.

Had a wonderful stay here. We had room 6 which is an accessible room and did it live up to expectations. Everything was perfect for the disabled and was superb. The food by Alex is wonderful with super dishes and specials available. All the staff are great and very professional. We have stayed before and will be back again. We recommend this wonderful place to all.

Excellent stay

A lovely gem in a beautiful location. Our room was beautiful, with plenty of space, a comfortable bed and huge bathroom.
The restaurant was amazing, Alex is a talented chef and we couldn’t fault the food. Ingredients are obviously fresh and local and breakfast and dinner were delicious.
Lovely staff who couldn’t do enough for us.
Definitely recommend Greenbanks for a great stay!

Beautiful place and delicious food

We had a wonderful holiday at Greenbanks. Nothing was too much trouble and all the staff were friendly and helpful. One of our party is disabled: the facilities and accommodation were perfect for access and use. We used both the barn self-catering, which is very well adapted for disabled people, and some of the other hotel rooms which were also easy to access. The pool has a hoist and is kept at a warm temperature. 
Alex is a fabulous cook and delights in preparing a huge range of top-quality meals. If the food you like is not on the set menu just ask Alex and he will make it for you. Some of our party are vegan and Alex produced some incredible meals for them. 
The grounds are beautiful and contain a lake. There is also a BBQ pit which guests are welcome to use. 
A very highly recommended hotel.

Wonderful family holiday

The staff are lovely and can't do enough for you during your stay. The room I stayed in was fantastic and the food was delicious. The views in the areas are lovely and the surroundings are peaceful and tranquil. Highly recommended.

The owners Julie & Alex can't do enough for you always on hand to help ...
Mum is wheelchair bound and uses a hoist to get in and out of bed ... which in the barn included being able to be lowered into a bath too ... and the swimming pool...
Ramps everywhere ... 
We had the upstairs too for myself husband and two young adult kids... spacious accommodation.  . Comfy beds and a superb view from the main bedroom. Spacious bathroom with separate shower and bath.. 
Dad spent every day by the fishing lake. 
We had access to the pool with hot tub and sauna which was so clean and easy to use with the wheelchair...
The restaurant boasts the most fantastic food top quality and presented like a top end london restaurant... 
Very impressed and would love to return ...


Wheelchair bound in the Barn fabulous

Unique hotel in a lovely quiet setting. My elderly mother-in-law who has mobility problems loved her stay. He room was spacious with a walk in shower. Everywhere was clean and well maintained. The beds were very comfortable and we loved the quality of the pillows. We didn’t have an evening meal but the breakfast was exceptional. The bacon was the best we have ever had in a hotel. My husband used the swimming pool and sauna  and said the area was clean with good facilities. Lastly the hosts were really friendly and made the stay extra special with their great sense of humour.

A gem of a hotel

We had an amazing stay. Room 5 was perfect for us and our toddler. Staff went above and beyond, letting us check in early and providing a small evening meal for our son even though the kitchen was closed. Also very good for gluten free food. We would definitely stay again!

Superb! 

I travel a lot for work and so i stay in many hotels but I have never been so well looked after as I have here, extraordinarily good hotel.

We stayed for a nearby wedding but also brought our 18 month old. We asked ahead of time if we could have warm milk and toast for our son at 6pm when he would need to go to bed, despite running on a skeleton crew of 1 due to all hotel guests being at the wedding  and the owners being told no one would need anything as all would be provided for at the wedding, this was delivered within minutes of me asking on the day.
I was also asked if I had eaten and needed any food, not wishing to be problematic I said something small would suffice but the owner instead offered me a burger and fries meal, complete with macaroons and beer.
He even went the extra mile by knocking on the window lightly so as not to wake my son. Amazing service.

Also for anyone who is gluten free like me, this is again an amazing place. The aforementioned food was completely gluten free (burger WITH bun) as was the beer. For breakfast I was given the choice of white or brown gf bread and even a gf pain au chocolat, let alone gf sausages, spoilt for choice.

If you have an EV its also worth noting they have two Teslas chargers on site to use, this was pointed out to me on arrival and was another great boon.

Wish I could give them another star.
