Good pub atmosphere. Good drinks and service. Ordered a pizza, tough crust and sloppy middle. Met someone else later who said that was also their experience, shouldn’t be too difficult to bake a pizza?

Sloppy pizza

I booked this hotel as I had an early flight from Gatwick. The location is good about 200 yards from the 3 bridges train station. As soon as I step in there was no reception, just a lady in a box room the size of a broom cupboard with a tablet that hands you the key of you room and the wi-fi code. I was explain that breakfast start at 08:00 in the morning. Which doesn't have any sense unless the want you to miss out, as most people who book hotels near the airport is due to early flights. sO THERE IT LEAVES YOU WITH A SOUR TASTE TO PAY FOR SOMETHING THAT YOU WILL MISS. The room was very small but adequate and clean. There was a bottle of water in the room the kind of one that is re-filled and had an open up plastic cork. Which make you feel that it could have been tampered with. If you go out to dinner good luck to punch the door key to get in again. Sin there is a flimsy light outside which makes it really impossible to see the keys. Would I book again?. Definitely not Sorry but they need to change their breakfast policy or reduce the price and not include it!

Mixed feelings

The room was alright but the breakfast was just self service cereal and toast. Selection of tea and coffee were limited and the only juice available was orange and had gone off. The check out process was easy though.

Disappointing Breakfast

Room was a box, with a small 2.5ft bed with 3 ft mattress , you fell off bed if moved in sleep, dirty, staff non-existent, breakfast was DIY, only choice, cardboard cereal with sour milk, dry bread for toast, margarine has gone yellow where old, no other choice but a ALDI cereal bar- didn’t see any staff apart from when checked in, 
For £50 a night plus having to pay to use the hotel car park at almost £5 a night it was expensive
For such a tiny room this was disgusting 

Find another place to stay 

This was a last minute booking and a fairly reasonable price of £49 inc breakfast...however immediately upon entering there was a strange smell the carpets were tatty and stained...once in my room there was an uncovered socket.  The decor was scruffy and as for the bathroom the dirt at the base of the sink was disgusting. tissue paper stuffed in the skirting board near the shower...however I will give one positive the bed was comfy...you were provided with ear plugs as road noise was a problem as was the pub across the road.  The breakfast was just help yourself toast crumpets, yoghurts and tea/coffee.  I couldn’t wait to leave...also at the rear where you park your car which you pay an extra £3.50 for the privilege there was a boarded up window!

Wouldn’t Use Again

We always stay here the night before flying out on holiday.  The rooms are basic but very clean and comfortable.  Self service breakfast with a good choice of cereals, juices, fruit etc.  Christine, the owner, is very friendly and obliging, and there is a great pub just up the road if you require an evening meal.  Prices are reasonable and, at the moment, it is possible to park for £3 per night.
