As we arrived on a Friday evening at the secure parking compound, we were greeted by the security chap who gave us our key and directions to our room. Pleasantly surprised by the standard of the accommodation and facilities within the room. The bed was comfortable,the shower was excellent and tea,coffee, shampoo and shower stuff all provided. Hairdryer and trouser press in the room also. If you need more fresh towels or toilet rolls these are kept in a storeroom at the end of the corridor sand you just help yourself. There was no noise during the night which gave us a good night's sleep. Breakfast was cooked to order each morning and there was plenty of it. Having the car parked in a secure place gave us peace of mind whilst we explored Cirencester on foot. The location of the accommodation gave us a good base to explore the surrounding area.

Everything we expected and more

All the staff we spoke with were extremely friendly and helpful, from security through reception to cafeteria: nothing too much trouble.  Breakfasts were fine, especially on the Friday; less choice on Saturday but still adequate.  It is an easy, level walk into the town centre, and there are several places to eat within a couple of minutes’ walk.

Parking was very secure, with a gated car park and 24hour security, as advertised.  Our bedroom and bathroom were basic but modern and comfortable.  Being a training/conference centre (for Mitsubishi) and next to a ‘river’ (more of a ditch), and out of the town centre, we booked expecting a peaceful night’s sleep.  But noise from the ring road just over the wall began very early and went on till late, and the enormous DHL trucks arrived and left at all hours.  

Nice people, noisy nights 

We visited Cirencester and stayed at Riverside House for 4 nights. We enjoyed our stay, room was very comfortable and the breakfasts were good. Didn't like the tea/coffee machine, our driver is were too strong and not hot. The parking suited us,car park very secure and has security. The only drawback was the walk into town.

Short Break

Stayed for one night during our trip around the Cotswolds. Was surprised when looking for the place that the entrance was in an industrial estate though I suppose the gated security is somewhat of a bonus it just seemed a little odd. The whole building honestly feels more like an office building with the office style canteen being the first thing you see. The place has a slightly musty smell.
The room itself was fine and the staff were friendly enough. I feel the checkout is a bit early given the location.
The cooked breakfast was probably the worst breakfast I've had in my life - avoid at all costs and just have the non-cooked products and the beans.

Strange place

Stayed in this hotel while on a course through work. Good location, all the staff I came in contact with were friendly,  comfortable room with everything you could need and a big car park with free parking and a security guard.

Business trip

Our trip to Cotswolds happened on a very short notice and the Riverside house was the only option we found available. We knew about Colt Cars grounds, but still it felt very awkward being so close to the trucks. The entrance to the hotel is via truck driving gates where security handed us our keys. We did’t see anyone in the reception since we arrived on Friday after 7pm, no one in presence on Saturday morning as well. No complaints about room, good size, comfy king size bed, modern shower room. Tea/coffee provided, kettle. Missed wifi code, could had been included in the general info left in the room. No usb charger and no one to ask for the socket adapter. English breakfast okay, though very average. Coffee machine too complicated to use unless you are shown how to handle it, and the coffee tasted very strange. Highway very close but windows soundproofed. It is in some 15-20 mins walk from the center. Would not stay again.
