Always a clean room and very friendly staff. BUT... we had a family room with a cot. The cot had the most horrendous 'mattress'. Incredibly uncomfortable for my baby, it was rock hard. I could actually knock on the 'mattress' which was really just the base of a travel cot with a sheet over the top. Should not be allowed to advertise that they provide cots. Or they should at least advise to bring your own mattress. We put two pillows underneath the 'mattress' to give the baby some sort of comfort. This really was a major issue and massively affected our stay. I felt robbed of a decent nights sleep and of my money to stay there! 

Good for adults, terrible for babies!

stayed this premier inn last night after some business in macclesfield this as got to be 1 of the best premier inns we have stayed in cannot fault the hotel lovely as usual with the premier range but the diamond of this stay is the beefeater next door lovely eatery great staff who we both thought went above and beyond to make u feel welcome we would never go to another hotel range at all roll on new year for our premier inn at lincoln

This hotel was very clean spacious and had everything you could want. Ideally placed to explore Macclesfield, Poynton, Wilmslow and knutsford. The place was clean spacious and had everything you need.

Worth the money

Very welcoming  staff jenny and Mike and chloe are amazing people and very helpful and great atmosphere  very clean rooms and  a good accommodation and great location  not far from town or local shops we highly  recommend  this primer inn to friends and  family  to stay here

Love it

The bathroom was not cleaned well, had to have it cleaned whilst there. Our room was just sub standard .. dust on walls dust web from ceiling filthy toilet dust on skirting boards definitely not what I expect from premier inns 

Never again

Excellent rooms, staff, safety. Great value. Very hospitable and industrial staff. The attached Beefeater is also well worthy of note for the great food and fantastic staff. Its a very good affordable hotel! 

Fantastic value

We had a good night at this Premier Inn. However, the ceiling in the bedroom was marked - couldn’t tell if it was damage or mould. The mastic in the bathroom was awful and needs replacing. Such a small amendment would make a massive difference.

Simple maintenance required, but generally good.

Exceptional hotel and very clran. Very warm, welcoming staff, in particular Mark Leyla and Ian at the restaurant. I was made to feel very welcome, the staff were so helpful and exceptionally welcoming. I would most definitely be staying here again. 

Extremely helpful staff at check in

This is the dirtiest room I have stayed in. 
I booked a double room for the night and was disappointed to see that I had been given 2 single beds when checking into my room. I did managed to push these beds together and clip them together for the night. I was disgusted to see that one of the single beds had dirty marks on the duvet and the pillows so obviously did not use these. 
In every corner of the room there was dust or cobwebs which is pretty simple to clean. 
The bathroom is where the room gets really dirty. There were still toothpaste marks in the sink from the previous guest. In the bath there were at least 6 short curly hairs which is unacceptable. Around the bath was covered in black mould. 
I did have breakfast booked and paid for but having seen the state of the room I decided to give this a miss as I couldn't be sure that the kitchen would be clean if they're happy to give guests dirty rooms. 
I will not ever be staying here again.
