Stayed at the Blue Ball on Saturday evening. Perfect stay, lovely welcome and the room was brilliant, lovely and clean and a fantastic en suite. Nicola couldn’t have been more helpful. We had a lovely breakfast in the morning in front of the wood burner which was delicious. The mushrooms and tomatoes were a huge hit! I would highly recommend this location, lovely room, lovely owners and fantastic value.

Overnight stay in Bruton

I booked three rooms for a family get together in Bruton. Rooms were spotless, beds really comfy and ensuits had rain showers with optional adjustable shower head for dry hair days. Hosts were super welcoming and personable gave us keys to front door so we could come and go as we needed. Highly recommend

Top notch B&B in Bruton

This is a lovely little place to stay, rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the host was very welcoming, and cooked us a brilliant breakfast in the morning! If you visiting Hauser and Wirth, this place is definitely worth staying at. It is very central and easily walkable to anywhere in the village (although you will need a torch to get back at night from Hauser & Wirth!).

Lovely little place

We had a nice, cosy room in this old and interesting building, located right in the middle of the village. Despite the central location it is not noisy at all, since the rooms are set back from the street - we slept very well and had a lovely stay.   
The building is quite unique, we especially liked the breakfast area with the pretty fireplace and wide windows. 
Full english (and delicious) breakfast home cooked to order, served with fruit and cereal and tasty toast and lashings of tea and coffee.  Good work!  
Not the biggest rooms, to be honest, but perfectly functional for our overnight stay and we would like to return again one day.   Nichola gave us a warm welcome and we really enjoyed our pleasant visit. Thank you.

cosy hideaway

The Blue Ball in Bruton is a real gem. I was made to feel very welcome, great location & a seriously good breakfast - much needed after a late night at a friend's wedding the night before. Would highly recommend!

So welcoming!

We had a very enjoyable two night stay for a wedding. The rooms were comfortable and the owners very amenable (ironed our shirts) and friendly.  I also had the most delicious fry up. In the centre of Bruton with lots of good restaurants and eclectic artisanal shops, and just a short Somerset stroll from the delightful hauser and wirsh gallery and gardens. Perfect for a weekend break.

A lovely spot and the best fry up in the land

I had a lovely 2-night stay recently. The rooms were extremely clean and our hosts were very helpful.  The breakfast offered, both hot and cold, were delicious - and a special mention must be given to their homemade granola!  Located in the center of Bruton, it's perfect for local activities and even longer walks just outside the town.  A brilliant spot for a weekend getaway.

The room was lovely, a good size with a modern well equipped bathroom. The owners were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was good and freshly cooked to order. The rates were reasonable and I would recommend it as a place to stay. The parking wasn't great, we had to park round the corner and a little way up the road. It wasn't really an issue as the weather was nice this weekend, but I can imagine it wouldn't be that much fun if it was raining.

Perfect B&B for a local wedding

Just one night booked for a wedding at nearby venue. Nichola was very accommodating with arrival times. Room was lovely, clean and comfortable. Can highly recommend the bacon in the full English breakfast!
