Don’t even deserve one star.. turned up at 11pm with late arrival guaranteed and it was all locked up… tried all the different numbers but no know answered… spent over an hour in the freezing cold (it was snowing) until I could found another hotel that had a room. Absolute disgrace and will make sure no one that I know will ever use this hotel in the future.

Absolutely terrible

On arrival was greeted by the owners, showed me to my lovely room.
The room was clean, tidy, just perfect for my stay. Clean towels provided and these were changed during my 3 night stay.
Breakfast was excellent, lots of fruit, cereals and a great choice of hot food. 
The choice of cooked breakfast was lovely,  all freshly cooked.
Off road and safe car parking too..
Owners were friendly and helpful. 
Couldn't find fault at all and I would stay again if in the area.

Visit

Brilliant place to stay right in the centre of town. Rooms are very clean and tidy. The manager Gary is nice,friendly and polite as are all the staff.The bar is really nice and the music that they had on when I stayed was brilliant all round a great place to stay and have a drink

I would not attempt to book there again. I booked direct by phone 2 weeks before travel only to find after 6 hours travel someone had deleted my booking and replaced by regular contractor clients. I had to find alternative accommodation.
I did hear from someone who did stay and found it ok.

Overnight stay

Can’t speak highly enough of the derby, it’s just spot on. The rooms are clean and well fitted out, power showers in ensuite. Full equipped residents kitchen with two coolers, two full height fridges, and dining/lounge with tv. Better value than branded hotels locally, well done!

Great accommodation

On arrival the greeting that awaits you in non existing. Check in is at the bar full of rowdy men, the 'receptionist/barmaid' said she wasn't expecting us, although our reservation was on her piece of paper; she then tried to over charge us. After providing proof of the price we booked fo we got no apology or anything. On our way to the room we asked about the check out time as no info was given on check in. The woman then told us there was no check out time, then showed us where to put our keys if we checked out before 11am. We asked again when we should check out which went from never to by 11am at the latest, THEN when we got to our room the information in there stated that check out time was actually at 12pm!! I mean to first off say there is no check out time is a bit ridiculous. Decor im the lounge and hallways is lovely just a shame it wasn't carried on into the bedrooms. Cant fault the cleanliness and the beds are comfy. We could hear the live band playing when we were trying to sleep and we were on the top floor, so i wouldn't advise light sleepers to stay here. Also inconvenient that there are no hairdryers available and the 'receptionist' is the most uninterested person you could come across, she was too busy on her mobile to help us. I think her name was Joanne? 
All in all accommodation was okay but customer service was frankly none existent and we would not return based on the customer service.

The rooms are a perfect blend of simple with nice touches for the price. A good shower , good wifi and the cleanest in the area. I e stayed at the duke , premiere inn etc all for work and it's not worth the money compared to this place 
The communal kitchen is best for cooking every night instead of hotel meals at other places 

Fantastic - I stayed  for 5 months for work 

The accommodation here has recently been completely renovated. My room was a decent size, clean, comfortable with good central heating. Fair sized shower with nice fresh towels. It's not a five star hotel but I have paid a lot more for a lot less in other hotels. Really good value for money.

Excellent Value for Money

This hotel is refurbished to a good and clean standard lovely decorated has everything you need the music bar is great we loved the band's that were playing can't fault this hotel apart from it was cold at night time, the kitchen lounge diner were great extra comfort if you wanted to eat in there instead of in yah room the kitchen had everything you could think of brilliant highly recommended
