Harmony hill has been a much loved family home.  It is not state of the art, it is far from modern, it needs a lot of work to make things right.  What it does have is character, comfort, space and lots of it.  It has crumbling walls, damp patches but this building dates back to the 1700’s and all this adds character to the place.  Lots of outside space with places to explore in the grounds. Particularly loved the sounds of wildlife outside. Surprisingly warm, and as much wood for the log burner or open fires that you need.  Bedrooms so spacious with large comfortable beds.  Loved the bar area and the kitchen was huge with as much utensils as you could ever think to find.  A car is needed to explore the area with lots of points of interest within a 30 min drive of the place.  If you are looking for a modern home then this is not for you, we wanted a family friendly pet property and we got this with so much more to offer.  I would certainly recommend it and would not hesitate to return

Home from home

Well worth a stay. We were travelling around the NI coast visiting some of the Game of Thrones filming locations and it was a great spot on the road to stop, unwind, and enjoy an excellent meal. 20 minutes to Dark Hedges and Portsteward and Portrush. Wifi is good and parking is good. There is a nice dining room with a stove and a small bar. Beers are available in cans and spirits and a good wine list also available. Food is top notch. there is a fireplace in the room that you are free to light. It was a warm night so we didn't but there wasn't matches if we had wanted to! But I'm sure these are provided as the hosts are lovely people and very friendly. Breakfast was good and freshly cooked. We will be back here before long!

Excellent house and amazing food

Stayed here with my husband and 2 children from 7th-10th Aug.  Large comfy bed downstairs and kids had there own room which was accessed by ladder stairs which they loved. Lovely garden to wander through and a tree swing for kids. There is a large lounge area where we played with games already there  (cards, scrabble and dominies). Nice peaceful break and a great Base to explore the causeway coast.  Beautiful breakfast to set you up for the day. 

Family break 

Stayed for 1 night while seeing the beautiful Antrim area. Huge comfortable bed. Lovely bedroom with open fire. Fantastic hearthy breakfast. Very friendly hosts. Quiet and peaceful. Couldn't be nicer.

Beautiful country house, very comfortable stay, charming

We spent a couple of nights here while visiting some of the major attractions in the area, en route to Dublin. We were the only guests. 
We found the Harmony Hill Country House very welcoming and very comfortable. We hadn't realised that we could have dinner in the House so hadn't let the proprietors know but they fed us very well at short notice. The menu was good and the food was delicious. Breakfasts started with a buffet followed by a cooked breakfast - all very good.
The drawing room was full of books and magazines, very relaxing. Wifi was good, 38 down and 43 up. 
Our only criticism was the shower. 
Highly recommended.

Very personable hosts, very welcoming, comfortable beds and very good food.

Been a couple of years since we were last here. Illness and one thing and another. Our loss. Wonderful food, great ambiance and a genial host. Excellent food and they served my favourite wine. Will I be back? You bet you sweet petunias.
