Good place to spend vacation.

Lovely little spot with a few nice things to do in the area. You need a car to get around. The woman running the hotel can let you know about fun things to do and good restaurants. Please be aware though, on a walk along the beach, our daughter was close to the water's edge and seemed to sink in quick sand up to her knees. She shouted out and we pulled her out, but her flip flops were buried deeply in the sand. We did manage to get them out, but it was a mess.

Peaceful and lovely

We stayed in the sea front villa. Nice room with a sit out & lawn facing sea. Good privacy and quite. The place is not suitable for swimming as there is no beach. The sea side of the villa is rocky with stones. Good and helpful staff.  Breakfast was average and very limited. The place is little bit remote so you must have a vehicle to move from there. Overall - nice place but not worth that much for what we paid.

A very nice resort with a sea view

Price may be a bit high but you get what you paid for.


A small quiet resort but has every you need. I stayed at the sea view and really enjoyed a nice quiet morning view. Staff are nice and helpful. The restaurants are a bit far from the resort but you can order their food and they will deliver to your room (resort provides the menu). Not suit for people who likes to go on the beach or in the water , the beach was not really clean and the water was muddy but there was a nice size swimming pool for everyone. Breakfast was ok you can have both Thai and western breakfast.

Nice quiet resort

Isolated resort, excellent view, nice pool, decent breakfast, no food options nearby. Closest restaurant we found was RueanRimNam seafood, which is great for seafood. Managed to get some Vegetarian food as well(stir fried vegetables with white rice)
Nice, clean, spacious rooms with clean bathrooms.

Solitude

This is a great little place. It is very beautiful and quiet. All the amenities are great and the room is exceptionally clean. We really love it. The only draw back is there is no beach so we can't swim in the ocean. Otherwise everything is perfect.

This  is a wonderful resort. Beautifully kept, good food delivered from across the street. Small convenient shops close by. No beach access. No sound of waves. Wonderful pool. Great breakfast.

-neat hotel-private ( only 9 guess room)-lovely and friendly proprietor -only 30 min drive to town-offer tasty breakfast-really love and wanna comeback

Nice stay

In Bangkok take Sukumvit Road to the Thailand - Cambodia border and some 200+ kms later you will reach the province of Chantaburi , in the East of Thailand. The road runs parallel to the sea and just some 10 odd km's after Chanchao lao Beach you will arrive at the Villa Phra Chan Resort. This is a small property with nine beautifully laid out  & appointed air conditionded cottages.These cottages are arranged in three rows with the first row facing the sea which is barely meters away.The resort grounds are full of flowering plants & trees and a sight to behold.
There is a small reception area & a dining room where a hearty breakfast is served, the swimming pool hidden behind tall plants is so very inviting. We found this beautiful resort to be just the place to be in to get away from the maddening rush & bustle of the cities.After a few hours here my wife did not want to return on the appointed day, this is the effect this resort has on guests. The staff are so friendly and always smiling.
There is a nice looking restaurant / coffee shop serving western and local food across the road  but it is open till 5.00 pm only. As they do not have an all day kitchen on the resort guests will have to keep this in mind as this is a very small town and the nearest place for dinner is a few km's away.The few places to eat which we checked serve good sea food with preparations in the Thai style.
Another point to note is that the locals including resort staff don't speak any English so communicating may be an issue.
A wonderful place to relax for everyone specially for those who want to get away from the big cities and spend quite times at peace with oneself..
